Episode 39: The Presidential Election of 2020
This episode is probably our most topical and serious episode, as we discuss the results of the 2020 Election. This episode was recorded two days before President Elect Joseph Biden officially claimed electoral majority, so it's our impressions on how the election went and our thoughts and ideas about the future of the country under Mr. Biden.

The Art of the Scream: Horror Movies Across Time
This episode focuses on the reality of the horror flick: what it used to be, what it is today, and what it should be. Sober October: An Annual Cleanse To Sharpen Your Senses
This Episode marks our first in October, and we want to sit back and take the month to revitalize ourselves, reframe how we live. It's easy to live and let live, and let the world just exist, and this month we want to actively do what's best for us! That means a 30 day cleanse, no substance, no problems. We'll see what just existing as-is does for us, and if we find out anything major about ourselves in that time.

The Plot Against America: Ep. 2
In this week's episode of HBO's newest period drama, the Levin family slows down a bit as tensions ramp up in the world around them. The episode didn't do wonders for me, and I was under-impressed with certain elements, but the attention to detail in the World of Story and my general interest for Alvin, Evelyn, and Herman have bought the show another week to blow my socks off. Tune in, and as always, thanks!
The Plot Against America: Episode One
Hi, I'm Back! Jon takes the first episode of HBO's new miniseries, The Plot Against America, and goes into the impacts of it culturally, as well as the plot itself and what the show brings to the table. Watch the new show on HBO, and tune in every Monday to hear more about the show!
Marriage Story
Make sure you've got a tissue box ladies and gents, in this episode we cover the Noah Baumbach film, Marriage Story. This film, starring Adam Driver and Scarlet Johansson, follows the messy divorce of a young couple who battle over their eight year-old son.
This film has the potential to be incredibly tear-jerking, especially for those who have experienced divorces and tough divorces at that. With that being said, you may also be able to find some comfort in the fact that this movie also has the power to make you feel acceptance for the way these things turn out.
As always...

The Catch-Up Episode (Bonus)
Hey there listeners, with this week's episode we decided to dial it back and NOT review anything. Instead, we chose to sit back and catch ourselves up with what we've been watching, reading, and just been up to in general.
We apologize for having an all over the place style with our episode schedule, we're still trying to find our footing. We equally enjoy reviewing TV and Movies, and also just letting our conversations go their own way, so maybe we'll do a little bit of both from now on!
Thanks for tuning in!

"War of the Worlds" - Radio
Sorry for a bit of delay in the wrapping up of our Sci-Fi month, however we are back with our review of a bit of a dated piece; the 1938 radio broadcast "War of the Worlds."
Produced by Orson Welles, this broadcast is notoriously known for making some listeners believe that alien invaders were sweeping the United States and wiping out humanity; although it was all a part of the fictional program.
Be sure to subscribe, comment, and give us a rating so we know if you enjoyed this episode!

"CC" - Short Film
On the second to last episode of Sci-Fi month, Jon and Justin discuss and review a short film created by DUST, "CC."
This short is set in an alternate reality (or future reality) where artificial humans named "Aids" are entering the workforce. The plot of the short focuses in on CC, an Aid who is solely tasked with nannying and caring for a little girl at all costs - even if the child's mother is back.
As always thank you for tuning in, we have one more episode left for Sci-Fi month and then we will be moving into our genre for December which is TBD! Stay tuned!

Blade Runner
We are back at it again with sci-fi month for the final cut of Blade Runner (1982). We watched the full film and podcasted immediately after, so you can expect ZERO mistakes on our part (yeah, right). We discuss the plot and characters of the film, and focus more heavily on the deeper visual poetry which this movie is truly known for.
Blade Runner tells the story of a Rick Deckard (played by Harrison Ford) who is an officer tasked with the duty of killing a group of dangerous "replicants," which are man-made artificial humans, who are on a revenge mission for serving as slaves to humans. Along the way, Deckard befriends a particularly convincing replicant named Rachel.

"White Bear" - Black Mirror
For the first of four pieces on science fiction this month, we focus on one of the best episodes of the popular show Black Mirror. White Bear, the best episode of season 2, focuses on an amnesiac woman who struggles figuring out her life, and the reality of the situation she finds herself in. It was a great watch, and a great start to the month. Tune In!!
The Lighthouse
This episode the boys AS WELL AS a special guest discuss the movie "The Lighthouse", a recent Roger Egers film that features Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson that features two lonely lighthouse keepers that go crazy as they become trapped in a lighthouse during a storm. This movie was seriously freaking weird and super interesting, and we had an awesome discuss about it. Go see it in theaters and listen in to our show!
Unbelievable: Episode 8
Here it is! We finally finish Unbelievable after 2 months of watching, reviewing, and taking in this real life story of crime and JUSTICE! We loved this show, and really recommend it to anyone who likes dramas and realistic crime shows. Watch how Marie, the officers, and all the other characters come to terms with life and honestly watch a pretty good wrap episode.

Watchmen: Episode 1
Hi everyone, Jon here with yet ANOTHER series that I can't wait to dive into. Watchmen is an HBO original drama about an alternate timeline where earth is...well, a whole lot shittier. Masked Vigilantes run alongside the anonymous police force as civil war starts to boil over in 2019 USA. I am NOT focusing on a plot overview, but a conversation of the world of story as well as the major themes and takeaways from the episode, along with some theories and speculation for what is to come. Thanks for tuning in!

PRIMAL: Episode 4
In this extra spooky episode of the show, our favorite caveman and dino are at it again trying their best to get by in a world dripping with predators and prey. This feels like a halloween episode, and is animated so well. It has my personal favorite animal we've seen thus far, and the subplot with the monkeys was effective and interesting. GIve this one a listen folks!

PRIMAL: Episode 3
In this episode Jon breaks down episode 3 of Primal, a new show by Genndy Tartokovsky (?) It's an episode about survival of the fittest and the idea that sometimes the odds are just too stacked against you... This episode follows a cruel winter as Spear and Fang attempt to yet again survive. Give it a watch!

Joker
Justin and Jon sat down and watched Joker, the newest Todd Philips film featuring Joaquin Phoenix. The movie focuses on mentally ill Arthur, a disenfranchised member of society that works his hardest to smile, until eventually it gets too difficult to pretend life is anything more than a bad joke. Definitely worth a watch, and this episode is equally worth a listen!
