You will not believe the talking-to-song ratio on this podcast, but despite the length of the song, it is well worth the wait. Zachariah continues carrying the torch with Hunter gone and invites on Jordan of Immortal Construct. This band definitely fits into the "lesser known" category of artists that we attempt to feature often, but they won't stay that way for long. Yet again, another criminally underrated band graces our presence as we get to share about them and help promote them. Another great band making its debut on TWIE Pod. As it is in all things of the Christian life, we learn to wait on God and sometimes that comes through the prompting of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us as Jesus promised. Zachariah and Hunter bring on Brian Lyda to talk about his project and how it has been a long time in the making with some songs having been written down and nearly ready for almost 30 years. Brian gives us a heads up as well on the album to come that features this debut single, Victory Over Death, and the themes and scripture that influenced him in his writing of this album. For many, working through the darker parts of life and the struggles we deal with is not an overnight change or solution. It takes time to reconcile and not only with those involved potentially, but for us to do the same with ourselves and how our view of ourselves changes as we go through these situations. Matthew McNamara and Robert Manzone join Hunter this week to talk about their latest project's debut of Consequence of Choice from their band, Drowning In Fear. Matt explains how he is writing for this project and how even through his writing that he is able to start to put words to challenges and feelings he's been dealing with, but that even though the content of the writing is darker as it deals with the human condition that he is still unabashedly clinging to Jesus Christ the only hope for all sinners. In honor of the upcoming album "Extraction" from GLAE releasing on January 13th, we invite on Zack Glaeser(the sole man of GLAE) and Robert Manzone(of Searching Serenity) the producer of the album. This was our first ever artist/engineer interview and it was a wild ride. As to be expected with a majority of deathcore vocalists, the guys go in-depth about modern deathcore as well as how "Extraction" managed to capture that modern quality with a classic deathcore sound. Looking back on their tour and release of these singles, we get to hear the reflections of the band on their processes and how it affected their faiths individually throughout their many shows and the songs they shared. God often works through us in ways that we might not have expected and so sometimes the lesson or wisdom isn't as obvious in the moment. Sometimes this comes out in a song that God puts on our hearts to write only to find out that its purpose is to speak to somebody years down the road, all in His time and by His power. This genre speaks out for those who don't feel like they have a voice or aren't even worth the breath it takes to say what's wrong. Let us reassure you that there is hope and God is listening always. So with that, Zachariah and Hunter bring on Joe Murphy of Lazarus Complex, but this time it's to talk about his side project Parking Lot Daydream which is for his upbeat videogame style instrumental music and though it's a change of pace for us here at The War Is Everything Podcast, sometimes a change of pace and mood is required. When we read it, how are we interpreting it? When you dive into the thick of eschatology(es-kuh-tol-oh-jee) or the study of the end of the world, you can't help but marvel at the power and majesty that Christ has and will exert on humanity. As many artists have done before, including the crew in BFH, the guys bring on Travis of Breach of Demise to talk about his song "Armageddon". This podcast was a long time coming. Zachariah welcomes on very dear friends of Blue Fire Horizon, Jacob Towns and Dave Hanson of DAV. DAV is one of the very first bands that BFH got the chance to serve alongside on the stage and they continue to remain great friends and brothers in Christ. The guys get to talk about the origins of DAV, what it looks like to step out in faith, and trusting God even when the future is not clear or the easiest path. It is possible to trust God and feel the emotions that we do at the same time. Much of David and the Psalmists' writings speak of despair, anxiety, depression, and pain. As the world continues to push towards polarization and the narrative that we can't disagree and love one another, Christians need to do better. We are watched with an intensity and a fervor that goes beyond that of even celebrities and so our actions and interactions matter. As we come out of June and all that that has entailed, many have chosen to allow hatred and malice to fill their hearts concerning others of various belief systems or other orientations. While we can argue that those don't align with God's word and we'd be right to do so based on the truth of scripture, that doesn't give us permission to count anybody out of the reach of Christ. Prayer, prayer, and more prayer is our basis as we seek to reach others with the love of Christ that we so very greatly do not deserve and yet have received. Zachariah and Hunter touch on the need to see others as people and that loving them doesn't require us to compromise our beliefs. God bless.

Happy new BFH song day! We are thrilled to have another song release and for Zachariah and Hunter to get the chance to talk about it. This song especially is important to us because while we believe that everything we do is worship in its own regard, this song comes directly from scripture and praises God for His power and authority. The guys talk with Morgan of Tundra about their latest single titled 'The Pit' which talks about exactly that. This episode is not a pointed finger but rather an effort to throw a lifeline to those who may be sinking after finding out about their favorite Christian [insert musician, pastor, youth group leader, etc.] giving up on the faith and/or abandoning the title of Christian. As teachers of the Word, we have but no choice to teach exactly what it says and to do so as faithfully as we are able by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is not by man's deeds that salvation is achieved, so even when shortcomings happen, we understand that that alone does not disqualify otherwise we'd all be disqualified (all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God). But we also recognize that once God has called you to a position where eyes watch and ears listen, your actions will reveal any sin that you have tried to bury. Let us all turn to God that He would forgive us for our judgment, hatred, and intentional discord within the bride of Christ and also pray that those who have strayed or been lead astray would return to His fold.
