Portrait of a Twin Flame - Suzanne (part 4/4)
Suzanne is married to a soulmate, fully awake, and ascending…all while in twin flame separation. Her journey began about two years ago. In Part 3 of our interview last week, Suzanne shared how she received and interpreted messages from the universe during awakening. These messages guided her as her soul evolved, changing frequency due to the twin flame journey. She grew interested in self-healing.
This week in Part 4, Suzanne shares how she used the pain of DNOTS and twin flame separation to fuel her self-work. She gives examples including steps she took to heal.
As her healing progressed, Suzanne realized how unhappy she had been. Despite a long, fruitful marriage to a soulmate who cared for her and supported her, she felt unfulfilled and unconnected. She wrote about all of this in her journal.
When he discovered her journal and read it, her soulmate husband did not take things well. He levied an accusation that many twin flames face upon sharing their story; that she’d joined a cult! Suzanne tells us where their marriage stands today, and what crossroads she faces.

In October 2021, Justin was diagnosed with a genetic heart defect called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Some call it Athlete's Heart. It took us a year and many appointments with an army of doctors to learn of his HCM diagnosis.
Most people with HCM have no complications and live long lives. But when someone begins to experience physical symptoms, there is an 85 percent chance of sudden cardiac death in the two years following onset.
Justin's going to have an open-heart surgery procedure called a septal myectomy on February 4. It involves entering the interior of his heart through the aorta and removing thin slices of the heart muscle to reduce the thickened area that's interfering with one of the valves. Good news that came in since I recorded today’s update - Justin’s covid text was negative! 🎉 That hurdle is cleared.
In today’s update, I finally got the chance to document my reactions to the very extensively informative pre-PRE-op appointment yesterday via Zoom. Tomorrow, we will spend half the day at in-person pre-op appointments at the Heart Institute and hospital. We’ll be back with that update, too! We want to share everything we’re going through so that anyone else in the future who receives an unexpected #HCM diagnosis knows what to expect and doesn’t feel so alone.

Pradnya first met her twin flame when she was in her early teens. Over the years, they did a dance of reunion and separation. Both married soulmates and chose to remain in a platonic connection together in spite of confirming that they were twin souls.

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Twin Flame Warriors' bonus podcast series, Portrait of a Twin Flame.
Each Portrait of a Twin Flame episode features someone Justin & Michelle know who’s willing to step forth and share their truth. We focus on a select few topics in each interview, staying relevant to spiritual awakening and twin flame journeys in order to capture a snapshot of where this flame is at on their path. OUR GUEST: Meet Kellie, a feminine-polarity flame currently living in separation from her twin. Kellie has been on the twin flame journey for about six years. She's found grace in accepting her path where it is today and she is living in the moment, even having fun! Kellie shares the practical, real-world self-healing steps she took to arrive in the place of acceptance (surrender).
Interestingly, just two weeks before we recorded this interview, Kellie's twin flame broke a three-year silence. They are in daily contact and tentatively figuring out how to navigate their connection after this extended period of her masculine-polarity twin's 'running.'

Twin Flames and Past Lives
Many people believe in reincarnation or past lives. Those in the twin flame community are no exception; in fact, those who identify as twin flames probably believe more fully in past lives than most. Justin & I believe it’s of great importance to borrow the grounding we achieved in past lives as we move forward in our twin flame journey today. Because, as we see it, we carry those past lives with us in memory in order to trigger the lessons or experiences we need to grow in our current lifetime.

It seems inevitable, on every twin flame journey, there comes a moment when one twin or the other asks themselves, “Should I tell them that I think they’re my twin flame…?” and then they take the plunge. I’ve come to think of this moment as ‘the Twin Flame Talk.’ It was one of the most mystical and affirming moments of Justin’s & my twin flame journey so far!
