We're back from another hiatus, and super excited to be staying with our ol' pal Freddy Fazzbear! Conor, Brendan, and Ryan survived the five nights, but was it an enjoyable time for die-hards and newbies? Come on back next week as we kick-off our Alex Garland series with Ex Machina!

Our interlude between Indiana Jones and Barbenheimer will be filled with Wes Anderson's two first feature length films, Bottle Rocket and Rushmore! There were perfectly three two week gaps in our schedule this year between series, so we will be reviewing some Wes Anderson flicks leading to Asteroid City, and the animated short, Henry Sugar. Come back next week for Rushmore, then it's party time with Barbie!

Nineteen years after Indy rode off into the sunset, Harrison Ford put the hat on once again for The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The film was generally well received by the critics but loathed by many of the fans. How does it hold up fifteen years later in 2023? Come back next week as we wrap up our Indiana Jones series with the new film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny!

First, Indy found the Ark of the Covenant, then in a prequel he discovered the Temple of Doom, now he makes his last crusade. Or maybe he will have two more? Hmm, that didn't seem well planned out. Well, either way, we're here to review The Last Crusade where Indy comes face to face with the Holy Grail and his papa, Sean Connery! Come back next week when we follow Indy to the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Yes, we didn't realize this is our 100th episode, oops! But don't worry, we'll have a very special episode soon to commemorate the 100th time we've reviewed a film on this show! For now, we're here with our review of the 1984 follow-up to Raiders of the Lost Ark from George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, the Temple of Dune! I mean, Doom. Did it again! Come back for a Father's Day celebration next week with Indy's pops in The Last Crusade.

Who's that knocking at my cabin door? It's M. Night Shyamalan with Dave Bautista. This movie made some waves earlier this year and now streams on Peacock, so Ryan chose it to be his host pick for this round. Come back next week for Brendan's pick, 65 starring Adam Driver!

Conor was swayed by He Who Walks Behind the Rows to select that the guys review the new Children of the Corn (2023). Actually, 2020? Sarasota let us know. The film was supposed to debut on Shudder in March but has yet to do so, but is available on Amazon for rental in-home! Next week we'll return with Ryan's pick, Knock at the Cabin which is available on Peacock!

Wahoo! The Cinema Talk Podcast is back with a review of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the newest release from Illumination! Join Ryan, Brendan, and Conor as they delve into this incredibly complex 90-minute film. Catch our thoughts in this week's episode! Here we go!
