Two Angles on Angling

It was a wild weather week but both Ryan and Jordan managed to spend time on the water, so the conversation starts off with a report about what they saw. An assessment of the forecast for the upcoming week follows. The guys get deep about lost connections with nature, what it feels like when a cold front approaches, similarities and differences between spring and fall, how fear of missing out in the spring is a thing but not so much for the fall...and more.

It was a wild weather week. From the eclipse to huge winds to floods - Ryan and Jordan spent most days either fishing or assessing the impacts of Mother Nature’s wrath. The guys get deep about Jordan's upcoming fishing trip. He took the first step of picking the dates - detailed planning ensues.

This past week was gorgeous here in the Buffalo Niagara Region s- Ryan and Jodan spent more days than not on the water. Their angling exploits dominate the conversation as does the impending reversion to winter. Various rants follow. It's been a few weeks since Jordan and Ryan recorded an episode - mainly because the conditions around the Buffalo Niagara Region haven't provided many opportunities to get on the water. Still, much has changed around the area to warrant an update. In the spirit of working out those "conversational muscles," the guys provide an angling update, catch up on what they've been up to lately and their plans for the next few weeks.

It was a week of wonderful weather (for the most part) in the Buffalo Niagara Region. Ryan fished every day and Jordan managed to spend a lot of time outside, keeping tabs on what's happening on the terrestrial side of things. It was a light week as far as the angling goes.  A little rest, repair, and recovery was in order after the spring insanity so the fishing report is a bit sparse.  The forecast for this upcoming week looks excellent and Ryan is booked daily so he discusses his plan.  Jordan and Ryan get deep about how plants are attacking them and how defenseless it makes them feel.

After another long week of fishing daily, there is much to discuss. The spring grows old - the "transition" is underway so the guys spend much of their time discussing that pattern. They also reflect on what they saw during the pre-spawn period - about human behavior and animal behavior.
