Yaakov explains how he got started and we discuss the importance of mental and physical health. Yaakov also runs a page/business called Frum Fitness helping Jews everywhere get in shape.  

Mental and physical health is extremely important in Judaism, although it is often not promoted as much as it should be.

In this episode, we got to speak with Eliyahu Eliezer Goldsmith AKA the Midnight Rabbi. Eli Goldsmith is a Baal Teshuva who has had a very interesting journey. Originally from North London UK, he made aliyah and has been living in Jerusalem among many tzaddikim. Officially he is a hasid of the Tolna Rebbe of Jerusalem but he is more known for his involvement in the Breslev outreach world. Eli managed Jewish rapper Nissim Black for over a year and a half, traveling the world with him until finally moving on to creating amazing Emuna Inspired Podcasts with Rav Shalom Arush shlita from the Hut Shel Hessed yeshiva as well as being the program director for Breslev Israel.  

This episode gave us tons of emuna and a lot of inspiration to continue our holy work here on Two Chassids In A Pod and especially to seek out opportunities for unity.

In this episode we got to sit down with Ariel Yaniv Ha'or Payne, many of you may have seen him in Nissim Black's Hava music video. Elio and Ariel Yaniv Ha'or have been friends since 2017 when they met in Yeshiva in Jerusalem. Ariel recently made aliyah to Israel. Here he shares some of his experiences from growing up in Detroit and working at a young age in The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History to being in Israel and connecting to the Aluf Abir and learning Torah in the Old City of Jerusalem.

We sat down with Yossi Shelley who is completing 4 years as the Israeli Ambassador to Brazil.

Yossi has a background in business and has done a very active job in improving relations between Israel and Brazil for the past 4 years.

He shares some of his experiences and his hope for a bright future between both nations!

We had the honor of sitting with Ernesto Araújo, the FM of Brazil. 

 Elio got to meet the FM in 2019 when he came with the President to Israel.

This time Minister Araújo came to find solutions for COVID mainly along with some other missions including developing more peace in the region and even developing the bond between the two countries' space agencies to hopefully join the next Beresheet Shuttle launch to space. 

Minister Araújo is actively fighting religious persecution globally with efforts in the UN, trying his hardest to ensure religious freedom across the world.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Eduardo Bolsonaro the son of Brazilian President Jair Messias Bolsonaro! Eduardo Bolsonaro is the most voted elected congressman ever in Brazilian history, the Chair of the Chamber of Foreign Affairs and National Defence Committee.

The Mind Of The Black Jew  - Mordechai Ben Avraham -  Two Chassids In A Pod Ep. 4  We had the privilege of hosting Mordechai Yosef Ben Avraham as our first guest on Two Chassids In A Pod!  Mordechai ben Avraham has an amazing story of spiritual growth. Coming from Calabasas/Hollywood, after much success and fame, he started to come closer to Hashem and then eventually to Torah and Mitzvot. Mordechai made aliyah to Israel and learned Torah in Jerusalem's Mea Shearim neighborhood.  A new book with be coming out soon written by Mordechai and published by Koren Publishers called The Mind of the Black Jew: Tech Support for the Soul.

This episode is really important to us, making teshuva and all the changes that it involves is not an easy process. Teshuva is such a beautiful thing, yet sometimes we need to just be inspired to keep going.
