Roger is the Managing Partner for Eyremount Investment Group, a small commercial real estate investment company active in the Washington D.C. regional market. They invest in real estate projects at all phases of the development process (undeveloped land, entitlement process, construction, lease-up).

This episode is the journey of Roy Barnett.  Roy's career spans 38 years of experience in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development, and construction. With his current role as President of Acquisition, Planning, & Development at Van Metre, he has been involved with the master planning of the mixed-use communities of Broadlands, Stone Ridge and Lansdowne. He is a licensed general contractor in Virginia and holds professional surveyor and/or engineering design licenses in four states.

This episode is the journey of Angelina Fuller, MRED Class of 2018. Angelina began her career as a Public Relations Specialist for the State Departments real estate arm. A difficult role to say the least, answering tough questions from our Nations highest Officials. She eventually leveraged her skills into real estate development, where she manages the entitlements for Artis Senior Living (ASL). ASL was formed in 2012 to develop assisted living residences serving the growing senior population.  Its initial focus is on the development of communities for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and memory loss.

We discuss Ben starting out his career as a photojournalist, then eventually transitioning into real estate where he is currently a Partner at Eberly Myers LLC. Eberly Myers LLC targets value-add or redevelopment real estate opportunities within Virginia, DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania. They mainly focus on multifamily or mixed use assets within walkable communities.
