On this episode our Careers Consultant Brenda Nestor speaks to recent UCC graduates Maria O'Sullivan and Will Moylan about their career journeys to date. Will studied Commerce and Chinese and is now an Assistant Brand Manager with Pernod Ricard. Maria studied BIS and is now working in DocuSign as a Solutions Consultant. 

We are joined by Erevan O'Neill, UCC Graduate and CEO of OneDesign San Francisco and Brad Wrigley  CEO of Varadis. Erevan and Brad are both experienced entrepreneurs with vastly different backgrounds who founded their own companies. They each discuss the challenges they experienced on their journey to success and offer advice for any budding entrepreneurs.

Each of our guests speaks about their own personal career journey and gives tips for those interested in a career with the EU. 

Twice a year, the Commission offers 5-month paid traineeships in its Directorate-Generals, agencies and bodies. Known as the ‘Blue Book’ traineeships, trainees work all over the European Commission, its services and agencies, mostly in Brussels, but also in Luxembourg and elsewhere across the European Union.
