This week has been a hard hit with the reality of our teenagers rapidly growing up and how the lessons we are learning can be applied to any season of life. We are finding the delicate balance required of giving both freedom and establishing guardrails and we would recommend these three things to help you navigate parenthood. •Prayer - Pray over your children's future spouse and for your kids to develop wisdom and discernment. •Protect - Protect your children physically, spiritually, and emotionally. •Provide- Provide balance between freedom and guardrails, and provide a safe space for conversation. Being a man in today's culture comes with a lot of stereotypes and misconceptions. We share from the heart on several strategies that have helped our marriage in this area. We also discuss how discipline, humility, and serving have had a huge impact in Brad becoming who God has called him to be.  We also want to recommend additional resources like "Soulcon" which is an online community, and "Playing the Man" by Mark Batterson.

Our story involves rebuilding trust and a lot of traveling for work.  Those two things don't work well together. We found several tips that have helped us and we share them with you on this episode.
