Hello All, Womens History Month was a huge success. I have had the pleasure of creating a large network of organizations in Cincinnati and beyond. So recently had the pleasure of interviewing the amazing organization, Abortion Fund of Ohio. I got the opportunity to talk with Lexi Dotson-Dufault (Executive Director) and Taren Holliman (Program Manager) Abortion Fund of Ohio is Ohio's only statewide abortion fund, and we provide financial, emotional, & practical support to patients seeking abortion in Ohio.

Wednesday’s 21-10 vote comes a week after changes and clarification were made to Senate Bill 83, which was introduced by state Sen. Jerry Cirino, R-Kirtland in March. SB 83 now moves to the House for committee consideration. Here is what I have to say!

Where Are We? Mental Health Check

Where Are We? Mental Health Check

I'm raising the red flag. Mental Health in the black community is important and since the death Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst's and Ian Alexander, Jr. It got to me thinking about how for years I hid my depression from friends and family and how I struggled for so long. Seek help if you need it, please. You are needed here and you are worthy of love and compassion. Here is a list of resources to get help, https://www.gcbhs.com/ (Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Service), Find a black therapist https://thevoiceofblackcincinnati.com/black-therapists-and-mental-health/, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
