We are out here today at the Sunny South Dallas Food Park- hosted by Urban Planner, Desiree Powell; located right here inside the gates of the Fair Park. The Sunny South Dallas Food Park is a community engagement opportunity to come out, get some good food, chill with family or friends and catch a good vibe. There's yoga on occasion, corn hole, benches in the shade, good music, great people watching, and did I mention the FOOD.. - Cause the vendors are the star of this show, with all of their amazing creations on display.

We'd like to introduce you to three vendors we chatted with while we were out here enjoying the park and laughing it up. First up is Alberta Harris, owner of Sole Glo Skin Care. Our special guest, Kevin Rogers helps us dig into the male perspective of mental health and wellness, what that looks like, what it feels like for our men in 2022. We also have special guest, MyKaylah Henderson in the studio opening up about her experience with her suicidal attempt. She talks openly with us about what led to this moment in her life. 

The conversation today is a hard conversation to have, it's a hard one to hear but we invite you to listen. 

None of the hosts are certified professional counselors. We speak with you as members of a community village in efforts of bringing this topic to the forefront. We do provide direction to resources that offer professional and licensed counselors/therapist.

We recognize co-parenting can get a little sticky, and takes a lot of energy, and requires teamwork. Everything we've talked about in prior episodes comes to full focus and plays it's part in our conversation about co-parenting. We talk about what some of our co-host have experienced in their journey's of parenting, and we offer our village perspective of compromise and understanding. 

You are not alone in this journey. We still find a way to laugh together, cry together, and look for resources together and a better way forward in this thing we call life.
