NHQ Mini-Series on Women's Equality Day with Rear Admiral Annie B. Andrews, USN (Ret.)

Welcome to the third and final episode in a three-part series as the NSCC commemorates Women's Equality Day on August 26th, 2020, which will be the centennial of passage of the 19th Amendment, finally giving women the right to vote. For this series, we will be hearing stories from some of the most accomplished women in the Navy, interviewed by young women who are also some of our most impressive leadership cadets.

We are joined by retired USN Rear Admiral Annie B. Andrews. You can view more about RADM Andrews here. She will be interviewed by Maya Wyr, Chief Petty Officer, Band of the West, Redwood City, CA. Chief Maya Wyr has dedicated herself to the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps for 6 years. She is a member of the Band of the West Division, the only Sea Cadet band in the nation, and serves as their one and only piccolo player. Her most recent awards include graduating as a Senior Leadership Academy Honor Cadet and receiving a Citation Ribbon for outstanding performance as an RTC Battalion Commander.
