This week we're covering another city with southern charm: Savannah, Georgia. Kaitlyn has been to Savannah and really enjoyed her time there. This week, we're talking about another bucket list place of ours - New Orleans. It's on our list because we like to explore history, but also because Kaitlyn wants beignets and to visit Pit Bulls that are on TV. Kaitlyn discusses her 2016 trip to Rome, Florence, Venice, Verona and Milan. She gives tips on what to do and, more importantly, what to eat! 

Kyle discusses where he would like to go, which includes a lot of what Kaitlyn covered, however he would also like to see Sicily, Cinque Terre and the Amalfi Coast. Kyle's family heritage has ties to the Calabria region so he would also want to visit there.

This week we're staying domestic, but heading to the other side of the country to Colorado. Kaitlyn has family in the state so she's been to the Fort Collins area a few times. She's not very active so she didn't participate in a lot of what nature had to offer. Kyle discusses his family trip to Colorado Springs where they rode in a hot air balloon.

This week we're (figuratively) heading to Japan! It's somewhere we haven't been yet, but has been on Kyle's list for a while.

Before doing research, Kaitlyn had no interest in Japan, but we're glad to report that has changed! Give us a listen to hear our suggestions of what to do, what to eat and some travel tips for Japan. When we did the research for this episode, we were actually pretty disappointed in the limited amount we found to do. Maybe it's just one of those places you just actually need to see to fully appreciate and understand it!

This week we're discussing one of our favorite places that is touted as the happiest place on Earth, Walt Disney World! 

We've each gone a few times when growing up but in September 2018 we went on a trip together. We discuss that trip in detail as well some tidbits from our previous trips. We describe our favorite food items and give some tips for those of you who may be planning a visit in the future.

Welcome to episode 10 of Vacation Mode Podcast! This week we're discussing our should-have-been honeymoon destination, Aruba. Kyle visited Aruba in high school with his family, and we were supposed to go together in November 2020.

This week Kyle and Kaitlyn discuss their separate trips to the Midwest. They both visited Cleveland and Sandusky, OH but Kyle and his family made an extra stop on their trip to Louisville, KY.

What brings them both to Sandusky, OH you ask? Cedar Point amusement park. Both families also visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

When Kyle and his family went to Louisville, they toured Churchill Downs, Woodford Reserve Distillery, Old Friends Equine and the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory & Museum.

The pair also discuss attractions that they may include on a future trip.

On episode 4 of Vacation Mode, we discuss our recent trip to Ocean City, NJ. We stayed for 3 full days and just got back about a week ago so the trip is fresh on our minds!

Kyle grew up taking day trips to the Ocean City Boardwalk so he recounts some of those experiences as well. This family-friendly beach town has lots to offer, even before summer officially begins. We had a great week filled with some amazing food (even for Kyle who recently went plant-based) and some competitive games of mini golf.
