When the people closest to you turn into strangers, it's hard to cope. This week Vaishi shares the biggest lessons she has learned from growing apart, growing up, and even throwing birthday parties. 

This week, we're myth-busting; turns out there is not always a price you have to pay, other peoples desires have nothing to do with your own, and you do actually get exactly what you ask for. 

"They're so young... they don't know what love is." 

We've all heard this one before. 

Too often young people find their emotions invalidated because of of their supposed lack of "experience". 

It's all a load of BS, and this week, Vaishi tells you why.

Vaishi is overwhelmed by positivity this week, as she tells you all about the importance of forgiving yourself, learning to stress less, maintaining loving relationships, and understanding your flaws and changing for the better  

Yep. She said it. Finding yourself is futile; rediscovering yourself is what's important. Vaishi discusses the merits of asking the question "who am I?", and talks about why trying to define yourself based on the perceptions of others is a dead end.

Back from hibernation, Vaishi talks about the importance of making choices that are healthy for you, going back to school in-person, the beauty of life crisis, and what COVID has taught her about people.

Boys ... well they can pretty much be the worst. This week, Vaishi gets into some girl talk, and yells at you just a little bit!

You don't have to be good enough for another person. You don't have to DO anything to be worthy of respect. You don't need people to like you. 

It's difficult to realize, but it's so so so TRUE. It's not even self-help fake inspo instagram quote type advice; it's just how it is. 

You don't need to make other people comfortable. 

You don't owe anyone anything but yourself.

Ever feel like you've completely lost your footing, don't know what you're passionate about, and don't feel good enough? Yeah.. very much same here. This week, Vaishi talks about how the things you loved as a kid reflect what makes you *special* and why manifestation is an ESSENTIAL part of your success, whether you believe in the strangeness of the universe or not. 

The realization that childhood is fleeting tends to arrive only when you are on the cusp of adulthood; unfortunatley, that's exactly where Vaishi is today. Are we running out of time? Is FOMO real? How many times can Vaishi make an annoying high pitched voice to mock her younger self? All this and more, this week on vibin with vaish. 

We're coming up on our one year anniversary soon :). The way time flies is insane. 

It's time for something new. 

Season two comes with the promise of more existential questions, laughable moments, good advice, and genuine conversation.

There's nothing mature or healthy about never getting into conflict. Ouch.. I know. This week Vaishi talks about the problems with complacency, being a people pleaser, and all of the different reasons you should stick up for yourself, regardless of how it will make other people feel.

This episode, we talk about all of the little things in life which bring us joy. From blasting music in the car to seeing a stranger's dogs try to come up to you when you're walking, there are so many split seconds where life is completely in balance and full of light. How can we use these little things to our advantage? All this and more in this weeks episode :) 

You know the trend where girls send surveys to all the boys they've liked and have them answer awkward questions? Rate their personality and appearance, all that good stuff... well that's what we are doing this week. I'm sacrificing my pride for entertainment purposes, as we go through 7 guys who I thought were cute at some point or the other and what they had to say about me. Welcome to my at home version of the Bachelorette. 

PSA- I don't like any of these boys at the moment, but for content purposes I had to go digging :) 

You know those one minute montages in movies where the character is transforming in front of our eyes, accompanied by Coldplay or Imagine Dragons? I know you know what I'm talking about. Turns out... real life has those moments too, just without the background music, the 2x speed, and basically everything that makes the experience cool. Let talk about it :)  

You are the main character. End of story. This episode we dive into the social media phenomenon of "being the main character" and all the reasons you 100% are one. Indisputably. So let's start living like it :) 

You know the feeling of being on an airplane and watching all the cars and houses getting smaller, as you wonder where each person is going and what they are doing? Because same. This week we analyze the concept of perception and laugh about just unimportant what we do is to the overall picture of existence. We are quite literally living on a floating rock, so shouldn't we make the best of it? And just how valid is choice; isn't it all just pure luck? All this and more, this week on vibin with vaish :) 

Get ready for a wild ride... literally. This week we talk about making mistakes as I tell you just how I managed to scratch somebody's car in a parking lot. Don't worry, I did the right thing in the end, but I have so many lingering feelings I want to dive into with you. In a way, this experience was the closest thing to a personal awakening that I've ever had- there's so much I have learned from it. Whether that be how to park properly or learning to let go of things out of my control, this was a major growing experience. I'm learning to be more comfortable with the uncertain; hopefully this will help you too :). 

Let's get transparent about being a teenager in love... or if you're like me, being a teenager who barely knows how to like someone. Does physical affection weird you out too? Nope? Might just be me then. This discussion is romantic incompetence at its finest. Are you single because of commitment issues, or is that really just a scam? Why are crushes so scary? Let's talk about it.

This week I talk about perseverance and confront you guys all the different ways you are unintentionally breaking yourself down for being human. Mistakes and challenges are some of the best teachers I've ever known. One mistake doesn't define you, and it's not over til you give up. YOU GOT THIS!!
