What is Prophecy? Let’s talk about it! #prophecies
The Prophecy Paradox: The Power and Perils of Seeing the Future (The Book is out now)
The Prophecy Paradox: The Power and Perils of Seeing the Future is a thought-provoking exploration of the complexities surrounding the ability to predict what lies ahead. While the power to foresee future events can be a valuable tool for decision-making and planning, it can also come with significant risks and pitfalls.
Through a combination of case studies, scientific research, and philosophical inquiry, this book delves into the many facets of the prophecy paradox. It examines the history and cultural significance of prophecy, the ways in which our brains process and interpret predictions, and the role of technology and data in predictive analysis.
The book also explores the ethical considerations of using predictive insight, including issues around privacy, bias, and the potential for self-fulfilling prophecies. Ultimately, it offers a nuanced and thought-provoking perspective on the complex interplay between knowledge of the future and our ability to shape it.

My Worst Nightmare
Adolescent minds are like whiteboards, some marks can linger eternally if left untreated in the early stages. It's important to disarm the fears, learning to feel safer in one's environment. Childhood stays with us forever and these incidents can leave a person scarred for life.

Staycation at the new Al Reef Resort and Spa by Andalus
Al Reef Resort reminded me of a small village in Europe. It was wonderful to stroll around with the family in the month of December, I'm back home from the ecstatic business and leisure trip to Dubai, jet lag persists and I’m up since 3 am but still reminiscing our time together at the resort.

Snow Day community effort!
Lots of snow, lots of chaos and then complaints. Obviously we all realized pain in the muscles we didn’t know we had by shovelling all that snow.
I was moved by my neighbour in the front street who singlehandedly took charge to clear the path to on the street for the ambulances n fire truck to pass in an emergency.
It was still the morning, she n her husband both work in healthcare so she must’ve thought about it. The entire circle was blocked from both sides with no path for any vehicles to get in. After I cleaned my driveway, I thought to give her a hand. She had already finished some n we agreed it was enough for a vehicle to pass. (She might’ve let me go as I mentioned I was in the middle of calls at work. I shouldn’t have).
Later in the afternoon an army of people with cordless snow blowers took the entire street and they cleaned it all without having to wait for the official ploughs. One of our neighbour even helped us clean our driveway since it was piled up again.
And just this afternoon while I was sitting in my home office, I noticed my neighbour with his son as they shovelled my driveway. The snowplough had dumped another round of snow, I didn’t bother to clean as I wasn’t going out today.
I feel so fortunate to be living in the community that cares about one another. Just sending out some positive vibes to everyone. Please be kind to the people who are rigorously working for our comfort.

A visit to Shirdi Dham and Shani Shingnapur this spring break!
Om Sai Ram! How many of you believe in Sai Baba of Shirdi? I've heard people of all religions and faith bow down to Him and some visit the shrine every year. I have believed in Him always, but my husband is the bigger devotee of Sai Baba. He says, he feels a special connection with Baba. He loves the quote which inspires him, Shraddha Saburi which means, Keep faith in Him and have patience. He is there for all and will take care. My husband says, his life changed after Shirdi.
A Historical Haven-Edinburgh
Edinburgh Castle is believed to be the most haunted place in Edinburgh, it has had its fair share of death, battles, torture, and executions over the years. Along with the city sightseeing tours during the day, there are so many ghost tours organized by companies at night and some mighty explorers are always on the hunt. I was way more scared and came back to the room early, though hubby kept cribbing about walking with them at night.

Do you also think that Jabal Jais resembles Grand Canyon?
I haven’t been to Grand Canyon but I’ve been to the similar surroundings in UAE last weekend. Sometime around lunchtime, we decided to drive to Ras Al Khaimah and camp overnight at Jebel Al Jais. Jebel Al Jais is the highest peak of the UAE and is 1,934m above sea levels.

Laxmi Villas Palace- Vadodara
The palace had knives, swords, and things from the war, contained in a big armory room. It also has a room with the creations of the famous painter, Raja Ravi Varma who laid out dynamic portraits of Indian Gods and Goddesses on a Canvas. He was the first person to showcase them to the general public especially to the lower casts who were not allowed inside the temples in that era. Raja Ravi Varma is recognized as the great painter and artist in Indian history. He was also very close to the King of Laxmi Villas Palace who also gave him the title of “Raja” as referred to as the King.
