Welcome to the FIRST episode of The Rising Podcast, where I'm sharing with you all about the intention of this podcast, what topics will be covered, and a little bit about who I am, what's my story, and how I use Astrology and other intuitive tools in my business.

I am Vanessa Sophie, a Western Sidereal Astrologer and Business Strategy Coach with over 10 years of experience in the field of entrepreneurship, including: business strategy, leadership, online marketing, and public speaking. I’m on a mission to give the tools necessary for success to other leaders, ensuring they are seen, heard, and recognized in their area of expertise.

Over the past 3 years, I’ve been diving deep into the study of Astrology and it became apparent very quickly in my coaching business that Astrology has a profound impact on the success of an individual and their business; the feedback was dramatic! I could not ignore the call to pursue my journey as an Astrologer in my coaching business, and saw the opportunity to merge the two. I now use my wealth of knowledge in astrology, as well as my intuitive gifts to help spiritual leaders dive deep into themselves by shining a light on their own unique gifts and talents.

This Podcast will teach you how to use these powerful tools for yourself and for your business, so that you can RISE as a leader, and show up as the best version of yourself in both your personal and professional life.

I use the Sidereal Zodiac in my astrology practice which is likely going to be different than what you might know from Western Astrology! The most common zodiac in the Western hemisphere is called "Tropical" which tracks the movement of the planets according to the seasons and the calendar, while the Sidereal Zodiac uses the current astronomical placements of the planets based on the fixed stars. So yes, this means that your zodiac and the rest of your chart will be different ;)
