Vegan Dharma Holiday Special 2021

Vegan Dharma Holiday Special 2021

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, and my deepest gratitude for your support this year!
The Vegan Dharma Podcast started in September 2021 and we've had 10 epic guests thus far.
New episodes resume in 2022!
I have a special gift for you all this Christmas Eve -- I am co-hosting a free online event next week on 12/29, 12/30, 12/31/2021 -- the Vegan Wellness World Summit!

It's all the info I wish I knew when I first went vegan 4 years ago and had NO idea what I was doing!

Here is an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at what's to come....

Today's guest is one of the most influential people I've come across in my vegan journey, Melanie Joy, PhD.  Listen to her introduce the subject of carnism, the invisible belief system that is directly opposite of veganism!

Note: the full interview is now available on YouTube at https://youtu.be/rq0cjXpgQzY?si=aAAAk1E756zouB2B

Free Coaching Friday - Kayla Feels Through a Cross-Country Move

Free Coaching Friday - Kayla Feels Through a Cross-Country Move

Welcome to Free Coaching Friday! Our 2nd coaching guest is Kayla Caruso, spiritual wellness coach, Reiki practitioner, and co-founder of CannaPride Lifestyle, an LGBTQ+ business that offers wellness services and sells premium CBD products. Kayla was just about to embark on a move from California to New York, and was oscillating between feeling gratitude and love for the place she used to live, and emotional blocks related to trauma healing from past relationships. We talk about the chakras (energy centers) that are being activated through the experience; and dive into a brief meditation. (For time's sake, dead air has been cut out. Note that my guided meditations are typically around 10-15 minutes.)

10: Jamie Castano on Evolving from Pet Rescue to a Vegan Thanksgiving for the Turkeys

10: Jamie Castano on Evolving from Pet Rescue to a Vegan Thanksgiving for the Turkeys

Welcome to the Vegan Dharma podcast with Laura Nadia. We're on a mission to save the world by inspiring people to care for themselves, the planet, and animals through mindfulness and purposeful living. Today’s guest is Jamie Castano, cofounder of Freedom Farm Animal Rescue in Cedarville, New Jersey.

Join us for a special Thanksgiving episode for the turkeys and get to know Freedom Farm’s “Welcome Committee”! Learn how Jamie & his partner went from meat-eating dog rescuers to opening a farm animal sanctuary and going fully vegan!

It is our wish & intention with this episode that you’ll consider the personality and sentience of turkeys and other animals commonly dismissed as food objects – and decide to leave them off your plate through the holidays.

Don’t mind the emu drum sounds in the background – this is the first episode that was recorded in person due to the ongoing pandemic! It’s actually background noise, not an emu, but emus do reside at Freedom Farm and fun fact they can make a noise that sounds just like a war drum! Many sanctuaries are also in remote areas/farmlands where internet access is limited. So we are grateful to have been able to meet in person for a volunteer day and interview. You can volunteer, visit, or just support the sanctuary virtually:

Join us for a discussion on our dharmas, how reiki and energy healing works, near-death experiences, the 5th dimension, aliens, and beyond! We embrace our spirituality full-on in this episode.

Free Coaching Friday - Lucie on Avoiding Burnout & Fostering Creativity

Free Coaching Friday - Lucie on Avoiding Burnout & Fostering Creativity

Welcome to a new segment - Free Coaching Friday!
It's the first day of October and it's our first guest, the trailblazing creative writer, Lucie Aidart. You'll detect she's originally from France and now is based in Scotland! Lucie wants to know how to avoid burnout after past experiences overworking herself in a corporate-style job and how to not lose her creative "spark".
We talk a bit about Human Design here, which in a nutshell is a metaanalytic system that incorporates modalities such as astrology and I Ching and Kabbalah to map out your energy centers; and dive into a brief meditation. (For time's sake, dead air has been cut out. Note that my guided meditations are typically around 10-15 minutes.)
Follow Lucie on Instagram at

Read Lucie's poem, "Stardust"! https://vocal.media/poets/stardust-e36c9o02s1
