Episode 8 of the Velouminous Podcast sees Andre return to Princeton, New Jersey to visit the studio space of Filipino American Visual Artist and Arts Advocate Mic Diño Boekelmann. Mic further discusses how she co-founded a badly needed local resource, the Princeton Artist Directory and inspired by Janna Añonuevo Langholz co-created an organisation representing and showing the work of Filipino artists in the North East: NexSE. Episode 4: Janie Hermann
Check out this episode with Janie Hermann who is the head of programming at Princeton Public Library. This episode has the unofficial title “The Community’s Living Room” because it really gets to the heart of what makes a great library tick. She tackles a whole host of tough, important conversations in the community with programs ranging from "Conversations about Race and White Fragility" to the Princeton Environmental Film Festival.
