A briefer note on what is AMBAG Project for your reference.

1)Rationale of the project. The AMBAG Project Ambag is a bisaya word for small/little contribution or help that is aligned to a bigger purpose (like Ripples to make Waves 😊). It started late May this year, seeing the need to redirect the donation campaign of the school instead of just focusing on Brigada Eskwela which we observe does not address the real need specifically in preparations to blended learning. As an Alumni of Abellana National School (largest public secondary school in Cebu City division with 3,500+ students), they understood and know well the real situation of every students enrolling in d school and how difficult it is for the teachers in managing and promoting quality learning. Thus the AMBAG Project was formed. Before launching the project, we did series of consultation with school admin.and getting data and information from them to ensure that solutions are aligned on what is the REAL need. From then on, they identified 3 strategic areas of intervention under the AMBAG Project:

A.Resource Mobilization - aims to gather and be the consolidator of resources (cash or in kind) that will benefit both the teachers and the students. We have sets of items based on category that needs to be purchased or donated.

B. Stakeholder Participation - making sure that the school admin.are involved from planning to implementation of d program. Engaging the PTCA and most of all the Alumni Community of d school and in what manner can they be of help for the school.

C. Capability Building - Equip teachers to prepare them for Blended learning. Finished the 1st of the mental health first aid workshop to the teachers and soon will be offering Financial Management under Crisis training which will be open both to the teachers and parents of the students.

2) Target beneficiaries or community: Abellana National School Faculty : 170 Teaching Faculty Students: 4,000+
