Ramblings with Essentially an Empath
By Victoria Bogoevski
I use a lot of information that comes from Spirit and is off the cuff. More than likely, episodes will not be edited and sound quality will be worked on as I am learning as I go.
From one mom to another, I cannot wait to go on this journey with you.

2: Making excuses
I am the expert in making excuses for myself to not show up.
To not rely on me.
I love to find any excuse to not do the hard things I know I need to do in order to just live within my comfort zone.

So many times people talk about being your true/authentic self. This is one of the hardest things to allow ourselves to do.
Why?
Because we fear 😨 other people will not accept our true selves. This is really just a mirror reflecting our own thoughts.
Like the biggest fear we have is whether or not we will like/accept 💜 ourselves.
I asked myself--Who do I truly want to be and why do I feel like I am fighting who I want to be?
I didn't know who she was. Well, I don't want to say I didn’t know who she is.
We have this ideal 💡 version of who we would like to be; based on the morals, life lessons, character, beliefs, habits, and values, etc. that we all have.
And the hardest thing for me is--
How do I start to become this person?

In this week's episode, I dive into reflecting on how making excuses allows us to live in fear of our ideal version of our self.
If you need a jumping spot on how to reflect on this, be sure to check out the blog. I made sure to keep the questions in BOLD so you could reference them to journal with.
I would LOVE to hear some excuses you're ready to kick to the curb! Be sure to DM me @essentiallyanempath on IG
1: I wasn't ready.
I wasn't ready to let her go.
I wasn't ready to lose a part of who I was.
The person who I loved 💜 so deeply.
There was a moment in my life when I felt like I was on top of the world 🌎.
I thought I had it all figured out 😂, and then I became a mom. Becoming a mom is different than being a wife 💍.
I really questioned whether I was capable of guiding these two beautiful souls alongside my husband. I still 🤔 question it, but I am aware of the fact that- as someone mentioned to me once: Kids are a gift 🎁 from God that we get to unwrap daily and watch them.
💥NEWS FLASH💥: your kids don’t know who you should be as a parent.
You are the only person that is stopping yourself from following through on the passions that you have.
