Reboot the Sequel

Nat, Ava, and I finally discuss Fast X, the tenth (unless you count Hobbs & Shaw) in the Fast & Furious series. Ava hasn't seen this one either, so listen to us try to explain to her what happens from memory and a slide show.

In this bonus mini episode, my friends Nat and Ava discuss Terrifier and Terrifier 2 with me. Ava saw both, Nat saw neither, but read some articles and the Wikipedia entry, and I saw hald of part 1 and turned it off. My Tribute to the late Paul Reubens, AKA Pee Wee Herman, who passed away on July 30, 2023. Today, August 27, 2023 would have been his 71st birthday.

I discuss Pee Wee's Playhouse, but mostly I look at Pee Wee's Big Adventure and its three stand alone sequels: Big Top Pee Wee, and Pee Wee's Big Holiday. Three equally odd films that are everything Pee Wee.

The Halloween series has come to an end. At least this particular story line has come to an end. Maybe. Who knows with this franchise. Anyone else watch Return to Oz expecting something like the 1939 film Wizard of Oz? If so, then you got an unintentional horror film that was set in the same universe instead of a fun musical. Join me, who hated the film, as I discuss the 1985 film with my friend Ian, who loved the film and read the books.

Legally Blonde gave us Elle Woods, an against all odds relatable character as a fish out of water underdog everyone underestimated due to ridiculous stereotypes. However, everything changed in Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde and what we got instead was a cringe-fest series of events.
