In week two we will unpack Psalm 23, one of the most famous Psalms, and see how God cares for us as our Great Shepherd. We will see how being led by God means we lack for nothing. He gives us rest, strength, protection, comfort, blessing, goodness, and unfailing love.

The Bible says in the book of Psalms 90:12, that in order to gain a heart of wisdom, we must learn how to number our days. Our life on Earth is short, and it is the promise of eternal life that allows us to press on this side of Heaven. Jesus moved with a clear vision, and in Proverbs 29:18 it says "Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is one who keeps the Law.” Personal vision, as it applies to the Christian, is less about your plan and more about your life in God's Plan. This week, we will focus on the power of personal vision and a 3-part process to creating your own.

Reflect on the Acts passage, "they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching." Dive into Ephesians 4:11 to understand the core elements of Christian community and discipleship.

Throughout this series, we will be looking at how the word of God truly is a lamp for our feet, a light for our path and a guide for our lives. We will see how the word of God has the power to transform our lives by transforming our minds.

In the fifth week, we will delve into the remarkable story of Jesus through the lens of Isaiah’s prophetic words about who the messiah would be, and what he would do as the savior of the world. Prepare to be moved as we explore the fulfillment of prophecies and the immeasurable love, grace and salvific provision of our Promised Messiah.

In the third week of our series, we turn our attention to the shepherds who received the angelic announcement of Jesus' birth. Drawing from the prophecies of Isaiah 9:2 and Micah 5:2, we understand the significance of the shepherds' presence at this divine moment. Their encounter with the angels and witnessing the newborn Savior in Luke 2:8-20 symbolizes the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies of a Savior who would be the sacrificial Lamb of God. Their response of awe, worship, and sharing the good news reflects our own call to proclaim Jesus as the promised Messiah.

As we continue our Advent journey, we delve into the story of Mary, the chosen vessel through whom Jesus, the promised Messiah, would enter the world. The prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 is fulfilled in Mary's virgin birth, as recorded in Luke 1:26-38. Through her humility, surrender, and unwavering faith, Mary becomes a powerful example of trust and obedience in God's divine plan. Her willingness to say "yes" to God's call challenges us to trust His leading in our own lives.

In the first week of our series, "Awaiting Advent: The Promised Messiah," we explore the story of Elizabeth and Zachariah, a righteous and faithful couple. Through the prophecy of Zechariah in Luke 1:67-79, we see the connection to the Old Testament promises of a coming Messiah. Their miraculous conception of John the Baptist fulfilled the prophetic words of Malachi 4:5-6, preparing the way for the Messiah. From their lives, we learn about God's faithfulness, the power of prayer, and the significance of obediently walking in His plans.

Week 2 centers around Nehemiah as an ordinary individual with an extraordinary burden for his people and city. Through his journey, we learn about the power of a shared vision and collective action. This week’s focus ties into our current mission, emphasizing how personal conviction and shared burdens can inspire us to be the change agents in our societies, rebuilding cultural and spiritual walls in our present-day contexts.

Join us for week one of our new series 'Nehemiah'! We'll learn about the Five Characteristics of The Remnant, drawing inspiration from the examples of Daniel, Noah, Esther, Elijah, and Joseph. In the final week of our study on the Armor of God, we explore the seventh and last piece of the armor, represented by the Roman Spear. Just as the number seven symbolizes completion in Scripture, prayer is the final piece that completes the spiritual armor.

The Roman Helmet was distinctive, often etched with designs that represented the wearer's identity and motivations. It stood out and gave the soldiers confidence and intimidation in battle. As Christians, our Helmet of Salvation speaks of our identity, confidence, and assurance in Christ's strength working in us.

In this week's teaching, we focus on the Shield of Faith, which is unlike the other pieces of the armor of God as it requires us to actively take it up and use it. Faith is something we cannot leave home without; it is an essential part of our spiritual defense in every situation.

In this week's teaching, we delve into the third piece of the armor of God: The Shoes of Peace. Just as soldiers in ancient times required proper footwear for warfare, we too need the readiness and footing given by the gospel of peace to be prepared for spiritual battles.

We explore the formation of strongholds, where Satan plants lies that grow into harmful imaginations and eventually lead to destructive behavior. However, through God's Word, we can prevent and detect these strongholds. The Belt of Truth, the written Word of God, serves as our defense, guiding us in recognizing absolute and foundational truths. By embracing sound doctrine, avoiding wrong influences, and allowing ourselves to be corrected by God's Word, we can replace demonic strongholds with biblical ones.

We confront the reality of a spiritual war waged by the kingdom of light against the kingdom of darkness. Our adversary, Satan, seeks to destroy and sabotage our lives, families, and purpose. This powerful teaching unveils the tactics of the enemy, which include misinformation, manipulation, and playing on our weaknesses and insecurities.

"I would do ____, but I'm just so busy." We all make excuses to why we cannot do something. We may have good intentions but it's our actions that we reveal who we are. We will dive into the amazing truths of how Christ has broken down the barriers that once separated Jew and Gentile, creating one new people, the Church, in Him. Join us as we discover how this message of unity impacts the way we relate to one another and the world, and how we can live out this identity as members of God's household.

In week five, everything changes as Pharaoh's dream sets the stage for Joseph's future. Joseph's life experiences have prepared him for this defining moment, proving that he didn't simply rise to the occasion, but was divinely equipped for it. As Joseph interprets the dream and gives all credit to God, he is recognized as the only one with the skills to guide Egypt through the coming years of plenty and famine. Witness Joseph's strategic genius as he develops a plan to save not only Egypt, but also the surrounding nations from death.

In week four, we follow Joseph's journey in prison, unjustly accused, yet God's faithfulness remains unwavering. Despite his circumstances, Joseph maintains a positive attitude and continues to trust in God's plan. Witness how, even behind bars, he is given favor by the warden and is divinely positioned to interpret the dreams of the King’s cupbearer and baker, showcasing his prophetic gift. The cupbearer returns to his position and forgets about Joseph for two years and Joseph is again reminded that while men may fail, God never forgets His promises.

In week three, we follow Joseph's journey from being sold into slavery to his unlikely success in the house of Potiphar. We witness how Joseph's integrity and unwavering faith earn him favor, allowing him to rise above his circumstances. He works to learn the language and ways of the Egyptians, skillfully adapting to his new environment. However, his trials are far from over as he faces a false accusation from Potiphar's wife, once again testing his devotion to God.
