We first have to identify what we are holding on to? Is it a person, an experience, or event. If your body is feeling tense it can mean your are dealing with regrets or regretting others, or experience that we are not able to change from the past. This is when we just need to let go!! Then, as we recognize what we are holding on to we can choose to change our current state of mind.

Your temptation is your distraction. How do you discipline yourself from your own distractions? Do you surrender to your distractions? It’s surrendering to prayer that you will gain awareness. It’s being honest. The key is to do your own inventory and give your weakness to God by confessing it. We need faith and help from the Holy Spirit to work on our inner being only to be refreshed and be disciplined!
