She Who Believed

Hey everyone!!!! HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY!!! I sure hope you are all doing great during this time. This episode, like majority of the episodes, hit home hard. Just knowing that from the beginning of time, God had a plan. Even when our seasons change, God has a plan. Even when others hurt us, God has a plan. Even when life takes a turn for the worse, God still had a plan. Seasons change, so do our assignments. Sooooooo.......sit back, relax and allow you to hear and discern the direction God has for in this season.

Heyyyyy everyone. I hope you are all doing great during this time. Due to so much that has happened, even to myself, this past 7 months, this episode truly hit home. This is probably something that most of us deal with on a daily basis, yet dont know what to do or which way to go. Letting go of what has caused us so much harm, hurt and pain, (even though we are so connected to it or them) is so much better than holding on. It wont be easy, but definitely worth it.

Welcome back everyone! I missed you all so very much. Well I am back and probably more bolder than before. 2020 and 2021 may have been a tough year for you. But I know that God allows things to work together for our good. I will be doing podcast on life lessons from Romans 12:2 for the remainder of July.  I believe in order to live the life that God has for you, we have to go through change. Change is necessary, especially if we allow the growth to happen. There is always a lesson in the change.

My desire for this episode is to inspire and encourage the person that needs it.

I QUIT BEDSIDE NURSING!!!! If you noticed the new title of the podcast changed. "Career To Called." I believe this is going to be a phenomenal move of God. This community is not to have individuals "quit" their jobs, but not allow their jobs to block what God has called them to be. 

I looked back for so many years, because being a "nurse" is all I knew to be. When it was taken from me, I felt as if my "identity" was also stolen. I did not know who I was. I began to idolize what I chose in this life to do. When God allowed my license to be taken from me, I knew He had a bigger and better plan for my life. Even though I didn't fully see it, I believed it. 

Just like the children of Israel in Exodus 14 (The Red Sea Crossing), majority of us tend to go back to what we are familiar with. Regardless if we are being treated unfairly, we still go back. Sometimes many christians tend to become comfortable in our discomfort. Well, that was me.

This podcast comes at a tough time for many people across our nation.  On yesterday, 1/26/2020, 9 lives were loss due to a tragic accident in California. Among those lives were, Kobe Bryant and his 13 year old daughter, Gianna. Well after receiving this devastating news, my heart, as well as many across the world, was heavy. Yet, life goes on. The word of God teaches us to "mourn with them who mourn; rejoice with them who rejoice." Romans 12:15  

My condolences for all that were affected by the tragedy.  

As I was reflecting on the life of Kobe Bryant, I kept seeing how many people were saying amazing things about him. Then I started to wonder, how many people are not living the life God has given them. This news continues to hurt my heart, yet I know God is still God. He has not changed. And even though the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came so that we can have life and have it more abundantly. Well,  I am choosing the abundant life. Look over your life and see what things that you can start now. Someone is waiting on your "yes." Someone is waiting on you to walk into your purpose. Someone is waiting on you to accept the call. Don't allow life to be taken from you and you go to the grave with your gifts. 

Reflect on the life of Kobe Bryant, as you walk into the life that you have now. Let this inspire you to do something different. This is the New You.....New Now Podcast. 

Get a powerful promise out of the Word of God. Let Him allow that scripture to speak to your spirit and to move you into what is already yours.

We deal with this issue in our lives every single day. Yet most of us, never do it, because our "excuse" is bigger than our "why". And that word is MOVE. God desires for you to move from where you are to where He desires to take you. The place that He takes us is full of blessings. Most people feel as if God has not answered their prayers. What if He has answered them. Yet, the provision doesn't fit where you are. I know movement all so well. Hey guys! Now this podcast is one that we all deal with on a daily basis. I believe "do not fear", "fear", "fear not" occurs in the Bible 365 times. When I heard that, it was amazing . Like our Father is reminding us on a daily basis to not fear anything. To have "childlike" faith, "mustard seed" faith. We face a world full of strife, crisis and so much more, yet we have a Heavenly Father who is with us and never leaves us.  Trust God in your everyday situations. This is a season that I believe I will more than likely face many moments of not allowing myself to "bow down" to fear. Because the devil does not want us to cross that threshold, yet your purpose and calling could be in that place. Seek Him first and allow Him to give you that power to do what is already within you. Relax, sit back and get ready to be inspired.

Could it be the fact that, you won't move until you see tangible evidence that the road is clear?
