The numbers mindset that might be hurting your podcast

The numbers mindset that might be hurting your podcast is the title of
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 101 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist Loren Weisman.

Are you focusing on numbers that only help the ego and end up hurting your authority and your show?

The perception and this view that numbers are the answer is showing it self to hurt the authentic numbers dramatically with true audience engagement these days. This focus that has been fed from the marketing gurus and ad hype types is starting to annoy those fans that want to engage, but at the same time want to feel engaged.

When podcasters and content creators push this forced and overly dominating messaging of like, share, follow, review, buy and follow, it can feel disrespectful to those that already have. Mixing this with a focus of asking for more numbers of listens, can completely turn off an audience.

Take in to consideration that your it is not your audiences job to market you and that as you pressure in shows, in content and keep a focus on wanting more than that audience, you may end up turning more of that audience away.

A more humble approach with a focus on the content, on the distribution of the content and the way your content or podcast invites people to it will help at this time to differentiate yourself as well as well in to the future.

Quarantine brand messaging updates and concepts to consider

Quarantine brand messaging updates and concepts to consider

Quarantine brand messaging updates and concepts to consider is the title of
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 100 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist Loren Weisman.

With the time you have on your hands at home, could it be time to handle some of the messaging and optics issues that may need addressing?

In this quarantine and time of many being told or forced to stay home, it does open up opportunities to dial in to issues and fix things that have been brushed off or put aside. The idea of quarantine brand messaging and updates has nothing to do with exploiting the virus. It has everything to do with taking the time and effectively digging into a discovery, audit or revamp of the brand messaging that may be an issue.

All too often, many businesses throw money at marketing to try to get the message out more, instead of taking a look at the messaging and figuring out why it is not penetrating. In the quarantine brand messaging updates and concepts episode, Loren Weisman digs into the perceptions of how a message might be heard and some actionable steps to take during this quarantine to edit and update that message for the best results and impact.

Wait What Really OK is A Methodical, Comical and Informational Podcast covering authentic messaging and optics approaches and strategies for the businesses of today.

Cognitive bias marketing harms your business and message

Cognitive bias marketing harms your business and message

Cognitive bias marketing harms your business and message is the title of
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 99 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist Loren Weisman.

Wait What Really OK is A Methodical, Comical and Informational Podcast covering authentic messaging and optics approaches and strategies for the businesses of today.

All too often online we are told exactly what we need and why we need it, yet in many cases, we are left with out the facts to know if it is true or if it is true any longer. They hype and a mix of the snake oil sales types mixed with those that may have their hearts in the right place but not have their information up to date can cause disaster.

In the episode, Cognitive bias marketing harms your business and message, Brand Messaging Strategist and host, Loren Weisman goes in to the meaning of cognitive bias and how harmful it can be to a business and a brand. Loren also discusses the touch points of how a brand discovery can help a business understand that perception can be very different from intention.

From looking at who you want to work through a wider set of eyes to see if what they share has the authority, validity and integrity, to looking at how the message you share could be received differently than how you intend, the result allows for better decisions and better paths.

Episode 99 of the Wait What Really OK Podcast is called Cognitive bias marketing harms your business and message and is available on iHeartRadio.

Jim Morey and his Infused Intelligence Alliance

Jim Morey and his Infused Intelligence Alliance

Jim Morey and his infused intelligence alliance is the title of
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 98 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist Loren Weisman. Wait What Really OK is A Methodical, Comical and Informational Podcast covering authentic messaging and optics approaches and strategies for the businesses of today.

Jim Morey brings a strategic, honorable and authentic voice to the world of CBD. Taking the love he has for CBD and THC, then mixing it with the meticulous research, the vetting, due diligence and careful review, the delivery of his information is sound, true to heart and factual.

In a market that is driven on hearsay, hype and excitement, Jim Morey shares in the excitement, but focuses heavily on the facts to ensure people have the right information and the right resources to choose for themselves.

I would not call Jim an advocate for CBD but more as a mediator. Jim is the Meticulous Mediator and sounding board for CBD that is not selling a CBD product, but more so, sharing, informing and empowering with the information behind CBD.

One basic example that makes Jim stand out is that he knows CBD is not for everyone. And a second differentiating example of his methodical approach is that a he make no umbrella claims about CBD whatsoever.

More coming about Jim, his speaking engagements, how to connect with Jim as well was more about the vetted truths around a world that has been amplified on myths through DBC Infused.

Jim Morey’s DBC Infused is made up of delicious and nutritious CBD intelligence that has been vetted and proven.

Episode 98 of the Wait What Really OK Podcast is called Jim Morey and his infused intelligence alliance is the title of The show is available on iHeartRadio.

Cannabis business protection through branding and compliance

Cannabis business protection through branding and compliance

Cannabis business protection through branding and compliance is the title of
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 97 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding speaker Loren Weisman.

By securing the brand, business, messaging, finances and operations while helping each venture stay up to date on all federal, state and county regulations, the reduction of risk drops and the increase in profit grows exponentially. Safely estimated to be a 22 billion dollar industry by 2022, the correct brand discovery, development, compliance and organization... now, will allow for a venture to drive, thrive and survive in a marketplace has many supporters but also has a lot of people looking for those making mistakes in order to taken them down.

As more and more states are legalizing medical marijuana as well as CBD products, while others are looking to legalize the use of recreational marijuana products, organizations need to get all ducks in a row and prepare for everything from the IRS coming to audit all the way to others trying to steal the thunder or popularity of a product or marketing campaign.

When you educate, build and protect your business the right way, with the right steps, correct organization and compliant operations in place, the chances of success, profit and sustainability move up in your favor.

We achieve this by looking at each service, brand, and product to see if it is Tried, Tested and True with the four major components.

1. Brand Correction or Creation and Security
2. Business Structure and Systems
3. Financial Compliance and Tracking
4. Legal Protection and Organization

I will be talking more on this at the USA CBD Expo in Miami, Florida on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. More at

Certified business coaches and Alex Cora of the Red Sox

Certified business coaches and Alex Cora of the Red Sox

Certified business coaches and Alex Cora of the Red Sox.
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 96 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist, branding speaker and Red Sox fan, Loren Weisman.

This is not just about baseball in this episode, but more of a lead in about how so many seem in shock and awe of the rookie coach who helped to get his team to win 108 games in the regular season and then lead them to win the world series.

While it was Alex Cora’s first year as the manager and coach, his experience, his knowledge, his authority and his authenticity shines in all that he has done and everywhere he has been at every step.

Now on the other side of the coin, would you want some manager or coach to help you that had never played the game and took a simple course with a fly by night certification? Probably not.

Now bring this into the business realm. Would you want a certified business coach that knows nothing or is very limited on their business knowledge, telling you what to do?

Think about the people you want in and around you as well as the types you think are best to listen to, pay and learn from.

Episode 96 of the brand strategy podcast Wait What Really OK is called Certified business coaches and Alex Cora of the Red Sox. The show is available on iHeartRadio.

A view of wealth with Wealth Strategist and Advisor Judy Hulsey.

A view of wealth with Wealth Strategist and Advisor Judy Hulsey. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 94 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding speaker talks about wealth management for today and not just retirement with Judy Hulsey.

I talk with Judy Hulsey about her book coming out next year called a view of wealth. Undoing oversaturated assumptions and placing them with personalized journies of success.

She covers the four key elements of her book and best practices with wealth management which include:
Discovering and Uncovering
Revealing and Revelation
Organizing and Architecture
Executing and endurance

Judy maintains that it is as important to live your life and plan for the life you want to live as you prepare for retirement and legacy as well. Too many focus only on the end or preparing for retirement. There is more to life and there is more you can do for your life than just plan for the end of it. Live the best life by planning with the best decisions to make the most out of your life and your dreams.

How do you trade cryptocurrency hype for blockchain education?

How do you trade cryptocurrency hype for blockchain education?

How do you trade cryptocurrency hype for block chain education?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 92 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding Speaker Loren Weisman talks about Blocking out the lies and learning the facts about blockchain.

So much of what is shared on cryptocurrency tends to be half truths, hyped up facts and all out assumptions. Instead of looking at the latest insulting meme about how you didn’t get into buying or trading coins sooner, why not focus on the education, the possibilities and the options of the blockchain.

Blockchain goes worlds deeper than trading coins or making a quick buck. It is not about getting rich overnight and it is not about multi level marketing scams.

This borderless ledger system allows for much more than making money. It brings authority, proof, validity and security to contracts, transactions and agreements.

This is a global game changer and the fastest track to understanding is educating yourself and going beyond the coin.

Lead generation methods that end up generating negative results.

Lead generation methods that end up generating negative results.

Lead generation methods that end up generating negative results

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 90 hosted by Branding Strategist and Brand speaker Loren Weisman talks about the lead generation methods that are full of hype, hoopla and hustle that tend to result in little to no conversion whatsoever.

There are way too many motivational coaches that claim they can lead you to the best sales, marketing and education when it comes down to their lead generation methods. The only problem is their how to sell methods are that they might not apply to you and in many cases can make you come off like you are spamming.

It is more than your presentation skills or applying google adsense and Google adwords. It can not just be about the sell to make money online. All these hype coaching videos are claiming to give you the best success and show you how to get sales with cheesy sales videos that will result in tons of business leads. The part they leave out though? What about what you are selling? What about the consideration of other people that are selling too? What about how to engage to showcase your authority, highlight your authenticity and amplify your message to draw people in.

Only pushing the pressure sell and the over spamming message that many lead generation methods to you to do will often times leave you with nothing but annoying and getting blocked by a number of leads.

This goes beyond personal wealth and flip flop gains and losses. How will blockchain save the world? In this episode, Loren digs into some simple podcast solicitation etiquette tips for those looking for guests and those that are looking to be guests on different shows.

By considering how many people are pushing spam style messages or trying to look too cool for school, then shifting to a more authentic and engaging request, your connections and conversions can be worlds better.

This book is not a best seller and it does not want to be one.

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 83 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman talks about his new book titled this book is not a best seller and it does not want to be one.

For my latest book I wanted to dig into the ideas around good and bad branding as well as the hype that has drawn more honorable people to use immoral style promotion that does not help them, their brand or their message.

When looking to build authority and trust, why market with lies. From people claiming to have best sellers to pushing sales hype instead of sharing the content of what is in their book and what it is about, many take a negative road that leads nowhere.

By staying true, humble, moral and honest, your authenticity can ignite your authority and get your message further each day.

How do you brand a magazine to work both online and in print?

How do you brand a magazine to work both online and in print?

How do you brand a magazine to work both online and in print?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 82 hosted by Brand messaging strategist and branding speaker Loren Weisman shares his views on print media and how to maintain momentum and profit with online and physical applications of a magazine.

The biggest mistake that is made in print media today is the sharing of media everywhere at the same time. But it is key and crucial to not copy all media. If it is all available online, then why should anyone buy the print and at the same time, if it is only in print, how will people find out about it online.

There is a happy medium that can cross promote as content cross pollinates and supports each element in different places. This array format allows for a better chance of exposure, connection and conversion to subscribers and profit.

Keeping track of content. Recycling and reusing for results.

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 81 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding speaker Loren Weisman discusses the concepts of tracing and indexing your content for the present and the future.

Creating and posting content to align with your brand as it compounds your message is great, but when you are tracking and indexing your content, you can stay on top of the trends and hot spots to be able to repurpose, recycle and reuse content easily and more efficiently.

Do you remember what you posted six months ago for your blog? By keeping an organized list of titles, links and graphics readily available for review, hot topics that you might have covered when they were not so hot can easily be found, accessed and reused again.

This week, the podcast video supplement digs in further by answering the question, why do I need graphic covers for my videos.

Canva makes branding easier for your online content and posts.

Canva makes branding easier for your online content and posts.

Canva makes branding easier for your online content and posts. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 79 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding speaker Loren Weisman talks Canva and his design story that has applied to his brand.

Canva is drummer friendly. Not trying to knock drummers, and I was one. This free website tool that also has a paid and upgraded service allows any business in any arena to create a better appearance with graphics, content and a lot more.

From Instagram posts to video headers, from social media avatars to social media heads and everything in between, Canva delivers a chance for you to apply ideas in an easy to use format with tools that make sense to the beginner and to the advanced.

Even the initial applications of ideas you can explore and then pass on to a professional, Canva can be a connector between describing what you want by putting together a basic design yourself and then passing it on to someone that can take it to the next level.

On this same coin, a solid well-branded logo from a designer can easily be applied to a variety of different promotional and content pieces with Canva. And as proof of concept of this and practicing as I preach, you can see Canva on all my social media sites and almost every piece of content supporting my Podcast Wait What Really OK.

How do you create a brand foundation? Knowem.com is an early step.

How do you create a brand foundation? Knowem.com is an early step.

How do you create a brand foundation? Knowem.com is an early step.
Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 78 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding Speaker Loren Weisman discusses the early stages of creating a brand as well as what to do and what to avoid in the beginning.

In the initial stages of branding a person, product, service or company, it can be an overwhelming and intimidating process. What ends up making it take more time and cost more money is when that process is not set in place with the right foundation.

From using free online tools like Knowem.com to do your research and due diligence in the similarities in look, feel and even phrasings, the strongest steps made to build the most solid foundation will allow you to start your brand from the most stable place.

So, how do you create a brand foundation? Knowem.com is an early step to take just as working to define the brand from look to feel to the written word. Why go backward? Set it up right to fuel it to move forward and upward effectively and professionally.

In this episode, I also touch on conducting Business at a Pub, The Sean Ryan Pub Speaker Series along with the Weis Words quote, “use authentic channels and honesty to market your products” and talking about branding with bobbleheads from Boobleheadme.com

How do you promote spirituality with honorable engagement?

How do you promote spirituality with honorable engagement?

How do you promote spirituality with honorable engagement? Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 77 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman discusses the idea of branding with honor and engagement for churches, synagogues and other religions.

From fighting an array of negative connotations to pushing people in ways they don’t need to be pushed, promoting connection, attendance and opportunities in religion has to come from a more inviting place.

Redundant invitations with excessive pressure and adding guilt in to the mix is not the way to go. By bringing in humility, humor, information and breaking down the misunderstandings with out the lecturing vibe is a great starting point.

In the middle of messages that are no longer heard, how do you promote spirituality today? The short answer is to brand that message with honorable engagement and a greater level of honor.

Adjusting the message to address the perceptions can help to authenticate the messaging with better intentions and the chance to create more connections.

Where is your donation going and how much is going to charity?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 76 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman talks about the holidays, the giving spirit and the realities of many charities, charitable events and the breakdown of how much of your dollar is actually going where you think it is.

Digging in to the question and the often unfortunate answers addressing charities and those charity events that seem to show up even more often during the holiday times.

Where is your donation going and are you sure the right amount is going where it should? Now, every non-profit and event has an overhead and costs, but there are a lot of events and non-profits that are practicing some shady approaches that leave a limited amount of your donation or you gift going where you want it to go.

By practicing that extra amount of due diligence and looking into the non-profits and the events you are giving to or taking a part in, you can make sure that the money you donate has the highest percentage of making the highest percentage of it en route to where it belongs.

Time management for your branding and marketing to do lists

Time management for your branding and marketing to do lists

Time management for your branding and marketing to-do lists. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 73 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman talks organization and making little amounts of time for the big projects over time.

Between the mixture of those that make out that working a certain number of hours means they are being effective to those that feel they need hours straight to work on a project instead of working on it in small segments and bits of time, time management for your branding and even your sanity can be a challenge.

In this episode, I am not presenting an all-around answer but bringing to the table a few concepts and thoughts to apply in order to be that much more effective with the time you have and the work you have to do.

Your strategy in time management for your branding, for your workload and for your profit is key. Bringing some patience to the table and realizing that it will never be the perfect time to be able to work on a given project for as long as you want, the whole, spread it out and work on it some each day instead of pushing it out can be a great move.

Ep 73 “Time management for your branding and marketing to-do lists.” of the Wait What Really OK Podcast is available on iHeartRadio.

Why failure is an option and why are we so afraid of failure?

Why failure is an option and why are we so afraid of failure?

Why failure is an option and why are we so afraid of failure? Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 72 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman digs in to the taboo of failure and the positive aspects of it.

In this day of nothing but positives and this idea that failure is not an option, in many ways that makes no sense. We are overloaded with motivation that delivers no information. Failure is only seen as a negative that we can’t accept. But what about the failures where one learns exactly what went wrong and how not to repeat it again? What about the idea of why failure is an option when you can only gain an understanding from a negative result?

The idea is not to accept failure, but more so to learn from it. In many ways, more can be learned and understood from things that went wrong over things that simply went right.

Ep 72 “Why failure is an option and why are we so afraid of failure?” of the Wait What Really OK Podcast is available on iHeartRadio.

Why would you hire a branding strategist to help you with a book?

Why would you hire a branding strategist to help you with a book?

Why would you hire a branding strategist to help you with a book? Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 71 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman, discusses the extra piece to bring to the creation of your book while you are writing it.

In the writing phase of books, all too often the idea is to just get it published and once it is read, the sales will magically appear. The other misconceptions and assumptions come in to play when authors think about branding at the end of the book and marketing the book once it comes out. Why would you hire a brand strategist to help you with your book? So you can write, market, brand and plan the release that much more effectively and productively.

To align and define the brand as you are writing the book and while it is being put together can allow you for greater opportunities, more media coverage and a better level of penetration and endurance for sales, opportunities and promotion after it is released.

What is Brand Strategy Discovery? A core element that many miss.

What is Brand Strategy Discovery? A core element that many miss. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 70 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman, goes in on the idea of the discovery phase of branding.

Are you looking into the comparisons and those that run close to your brand and your concepts when you are creating your brand? Take the time to do the discovery as you create the blueprint for your brand. Look at what others are doing and how you can differentiate yourself while still applying your voice, your style and your image to the brand that you are creating.

What is Brand Strategy Discover? Simply put, it is the phase between the wording, phrases and initial development of your brand being searched against other brands to allow you to see what can work for you and what can work against you as you also find ways to expand your message with an individualized touch that won’t get caught up and mistaken for others.

Does your online content need room service and housekeeping?

Does your online content need room service and housekeeping? Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 69 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker Loren Weisman, talks about items you might want to update, delete and fix online.

Does your online content need room service and housekeeping? Or maybe just a clean up, an update or a freshening up? As we all get better with posts and better with our content and information that we share but we often neglect the content, posts, audios, pictures and other items already up.

Taking the time to look up and look through the past can help those first connecting with your past to have a better chance of connecting with you in the present. The assumption that many make thinking that a first impression won’t be made and once they look at something new, they will be impressed… is a very dangerous one to make.

Look into what can come down, what can be updated, redirected or adjusted to allow your brand, your message, and your knowledge to shine.

What is the worst podcast ever? Well, this is my worst episode ever. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 68 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman delivers a gabbing dumpster fire of an episode.

On little sleep and making little sense, Loren talks about how not all content has to be perfect and how well branded content, even if it is not the best, can still help to promote better content you have.

It is not about perfect, and this episode is far from perfect, but it gets the point across about continuity and the editorial calendar. With this podcast in a template form, it was easy to slide in the audio and adjust the visual and written to get it up quick.

What is the worst podcast ever? I’m not sure, and I hope it is not Wait What Really OK, but this is far and away the worst episode ever.

When should you ask for a sponsorship or endorsement deal? Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 66 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman digs in to the misconceptions and misunderstandings surrounding sponsorships and endorsements.

Too many people and businesses jump the gun when they go after sponsorship or endorsement deals? It comes off like a one way situation and selfish too.

Look to situations where it is mutually beneficial and what you provide for them in exposure or marketing would benefit them a great deal. Otherwise, why should they support you, if you are only looking to get support from them and not bringing much to the table?

When is the best time to buy a car? Overused marketing pitches. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 64 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman talks about those sale and marketing tactics that are used over and over again.

Have you ever experienced those ads that come on saying the best time to buy a car is now, only to hear the same basic advertisement a month later? This overused, overhyped and over done tactic is losing steam and annoying people more and more.

This is one reason why avoiding this tactic and working to strategize a message that can branch out over time and not sound redundant or repetitive will serve you better while helping to keep those engaged longer.

It also aligns with avoiding some of those same selling images too often as well. From the words, you use, to the images to the videos and everything else, work to keep it fresh, while you share the same foundational message.

Becoming a more effective speaker with authenticity and authority.

Becoming a more effective speaker with authenticity and authority.

Becoming a more effective speaker with authenticity and authority. Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 62 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman discusses a few simple tips and applications to apply to your speaking engagements.

While there are many so-called speaking coaches and groups that help to make you a better speaker, many of them only help to create a contrived and templated style of public presentation. In this world of anyone can become a speaker, it misses out the authority and validity on what can be spoken on.

The first step before anything else is to have the knowledge, experience, and authority on a topic to deliver it. This is rooted in the right information and not tone, hand gestures or audience engagement. This also contradicts the statement that anyone can be a speaker because if you don’t have a strong message, experience, and knowledge in a given subject, you don’t need to be speaking on that topic.

If you have the knowledge, authority, and expertise to speak, then organizing the message, your brand, and your presentations can make all the difference in getting hired and hired again.

Have the knowledge, authority and expertise to speak, then this episode is for you. If you lack those three pieces, then get those elements in place before trying to present what you don’t have yet.

What does a brand strategist do to create media endurance?

What does a brand strategist do to create media endurance?

What does a brand strategist do to create media endurance?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 56 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman dials in to the ideas around creating a stronger media endurance for brands.

A great deal of brands lift off or are launched before they are ready. And while those brands can get a boost upon launch, they tend to not go that high and quickly crash in to obscurity.

In building the brand, going deeper in to the product or the person, their past, their influences, comparisons, knowledge and background, it all opens up a greater deal of possibilities for media exposure, interviews and no cost promotional endurance options.

What does working with a brand strategist do for your brand and for your media endurance? It can do a great deal to assist in keeping your messaging fresh and extended for a greater endurance in the media.

By organizing your foundation for all the options of both content and promotion, you allow yourself a wider reach with more chances to convert media to sales.

What is the difference between intention and perception online?

Why should I stop saying certain words when it comes to sales?

Why should I stop saying certain words when it comes to sales?

Why should I stop saying certain words when it comes to sales?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 57 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman has words with words that we should all be removing from our sales and pitches both verbally as well as in written materials. These should also be removed from our social media posts and especially the headlines.

We are in a war of words with so many overused and fluff words that have become so commonplace and oversaturated. By putting bin that extra effort to remove the words that are overused and work our pitches, headlines, and discussions with a greater authenticity and authority, it can help to stand out in a sea of junk.

On top of it, you have many people using these words and phrases to cover up what they don’t know. So why should I stop saying certain words and phrases? Because I want my message to be taken seriously and heard authentically. I believe you would want the same.

Why should I stop saying certain words when it comes to sales? Ep 57 of the Wait What Really OK Podcast is available on iHeartRadio

I am sorry things suck. But suck it up. Personal problem posting

I am sorry things suck. But suck it up. Personal problem posting

I am sorry things suck. But suck it up. Personal problem posting.

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 56 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman talks about those that talk too much about personal problems online. While sharing certain problems can be one thing, there are so many that are sharing way too many issues and hurting their online foot print. Not to mention, it just comes off like that Alexander and the horrible, terrible, very bad day… everyday!

Finding a happy medium between sharing a few thoughts, rants or issues and just making everyday a sob fest needs to happen. Otherwise that whole “Bye Felicia” experience is going to come out in full force with your existing contacts.

Then when you think about potential new customers or people connecting with you for the first time. Would you really want some one to see just how awful things are, how unfair people are, how nothing is working for you? And on that same note, how could that possibly make them want to work with you?

I am sorry things suck and I am not saying to present something that is picture perfect and false. But, having a little privacy and keeping the professional that much more professional will drive better results.

While I am sorry things suck, you can make them suck that much less by not coming off like a whiner, complainer or someone that is negative all the time.

Buck it up. Suck it up. And move on up.

Motivation without information? Inspiration without an action plan?

Motivation without information? Inspiration without an action plan?

Motivation without information? Inspiration without an action plan?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 53 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman revisits the life coach problem and the problem that so many life coaches are causing those that buy in to their pitches.

Its the new magic elixir and yet as old as the earliest self help books, these life coach, business coach types that have all the answers to business, while never having been successful in business themselves.

There are a select few that motivate as they inform and inspire as the direct. These are the ones to look to, connect with and work with. Just take the time to research those that claim to have all the answers and look for how they have applied those answers for others and themselves.

Motivation without information? Inspiration without an action plan? Ep 53 of the Wait What Really OK Podcast is available on iHeartRadio.

When should I join a business networking group? Networking tips. EP52.

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 52 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman digs in to joining business networking groups as well as a few observations, ideas and issues that can help over the long term.

After joining a few business networking groups, I have noticed a few themes and approaches that can work well and a few others that are poisonous to any success. From how you pitch to how you connect, those details as well as the delivery can make all the difference.

When you see business networking groups as a tool to help yourself while helping others, you can find that many more connections, opportunities and options. If you are making it all about you, you might not find the benefit at all.

How is the million dollar mindset bad? What are you looking at?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 51 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and branding speaker, Loren Weisman asks why some admires certain millionaires and is it for the right reason and the right inspiration.

Some just seem to think that some one that is a millionaire is somehow magical and that is the goal. But when you look deeper, is the mindset of how that person made their money or received their money really how you want to operate?

Are you in the mindset that suits your needs, your morals, your drive and your dreams? Or are you taking on a mindset that is something that has nothing to do with you? Choose the mindset and the directions that will work for you and work the right way…as well as the legal way!

Why do we use words like love when we don’t mean them?

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 49 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman asks, Why do we use words like love when we don’t mean them?

What does love mean to you and in the overused usage of it, doesn’t that make it a little less? In a day over oversaturated words and the loss of impact in the meaning, its key to look at what we say in our pitches, our marketing and our sales.

Are we just coming off like everyone else or would it be better to take a little more time to make the pitch, the bio, the tagline or the message have that much more of an impact?

The attention to detail in the words you use and the words you choose can create that much better of a connection, engagement and professionalism for you, your service or your company.

Have you come to terms with your terms and conditions? WWROK Ep48

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 48 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman asks, Have you come to terms with your terms and conditions?

A major element that is overlooked all too often in website and even business sets ups are the details of the terms and conditions. It goes beyond that too. From the privacy policy to limitations of liability, intellectual property policies to delivers and returns, they are all crucial to have in place.

Like insurance and other preventative maintenance measures, many only add them or get them after something goes wrong. Still, in a world of ambulance chasing lawyers and people ready to sue at the drop of a hat, it is the best move, the safest move and smartest move to get these pieces together and in place today.

Do I really need to be an entrepreneur? Do I need my own business? WWROK Ep46

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 46 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman asks a simple question. Do I really need to be an entrepreneur?
In a day where it seems if you are not trying to be the biggest and best thing ever, then you are nothing.

And this is flat out sad.

Way too many people are making up hype they can’t back up to claim they are doing things they haven’t and know how to do things they can’t do. All while presenting a false success that they have never achieved, which somehow they can magically show everyone else how to do.

The muddying of the business waters with all these serial entrepreneurs, experts, consultants, coaches, guides, gurus and what ever else is the flavor of the month term has gotten out of hand.

With certified courses to teach you how to teach things you haven’t learned, it makes it even worse.

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 43 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman talks with Dominic DiGiorgio about how easily offended everyone has become these days and how it is hurting more than helping. And to be clear, it is not about not being respectful… We are talking about how it is impossible not to offend someone these days.

Dominic DiGiorgio AKA “Dom The Coffee Guy” and Loren Weisman dig in to this over sensitive world of PC. There is a fine line between being honest and being disrespectful. And unfortunately with many people not knowing the difference, they are feeling offended by anything and everything. "Being offended is subjective. Whats wrong with being offended?“ - Steve Hughes.

Who can people compare you to? Relatable branding for your marketing. WWROK Ep42

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 42 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman discusses the concept of relatable branding and how it can supplement your marketing by making better initial and vicarious connections.

It might almost sound like a joke but who can you be compared to both inside and outside of your business? Think about a wider approach to connect people to what you do, who you are as well as what and who they remind you of.

Too many people get caught up in the idea of not wanting to be compared to anyone else, while it can actually open a door and start a connection whether serious, humorous or just familiar.

Why I am scared of most life coaches and why you should be too. WWROK Ep41

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 41 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman discusses the concept of the life coaching methods that are far from helpful and don’t deliver the results or the conversions in the long term.

Digging a little deeper in to the concept of life coaching and how the bigger percentages of life coaches are hurting more than helping, we dig in to the questions, the answers, the results and the issues that show up all too often with those that really have no place in coaching.

While this is not true for every single life coach and their are a small percentage that can be that effective and be a part of delivery the results, this is a scary world that is being taken over by those that have never been able to do anything for themselves or effectively work for others. Yet, somehow they have all the answers and all the methods for everyone.

How many people see my posts? The reality of visibility online. WWROK Ep38

Wait What Really OK Podcast Episode 38 hosted by Brand Messaging Strategist and Branding Speaker, Loren Weisman, delivers an overview on your online and social media views.

Thinking about the question itself and resetting your mind to creating the posts that the most people would want to engage with is a better place to start from. As you think more toward creating a plan around the content that you create to invite, communicate and connect with your three audiences, you build a better way to draw people in.

If you need help with this type of content strategy or brand precision marketing, I am running a holiday special for a service that ties in to these concepts. For more info or to sign up, visit:
