Some 20 years ago straight out of college, Tawanda Chinyama was working as a Salesman at some of Zimbabwe’s top FMCG companies including multinational Unilever, Art Corporation, Nestle Zimbabwe and Prochem. How he went about transforming his life from a fatherless child, to a record-breaking salesman and now successful Perfumery Entrepreneur is one you should hear and be inspired! Tawanda is a Cofounder together with his wife Mabel of both Kalose Perfumes and Senate Perfumes.

Jacqueline Mgido, popularly known as “Jacque Mgido” or just "Jacque" is a Zimbabwean born renowned celebrity make-up artist, stylist and entrepreneur who is based in Hollywood. She is the founder and CEO of Vault Cosmetics which recently rebranded to Jacque Mgido Cosmetics an international makeup brand. She is a make-up artist to the stars darling!!! She has done makeup for some of Hollywood’s top celebrities such as Ne-Yo, John Legend and LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Denzel Washington, Sylvester Stallone, Wiz Khalifa and Gayle King. She has worked as a make-up artist on the sets of some of Hollywood’s top productions in terms of TV shows and movies. Jackie has won numerous awards amongst them the Dynamic Start-up Business Award at the 2015 edition of the African Women Awards. In 2017 she became a brand ambassador for Legacy Lifestyle. I found her to be every bit the warm, open and friendly online personality that we have all come to love!

From social work graduate to founder of a growing and thriving beauty brand my guest this week is a young woman who is making serious moves within the Zimbabwean beauty industry. Carol Nyazika is an entrepreneur and The founder of Ndanaka the beauty care range of products that include skincare, body and hair care. She so-founded the African Women Association together with Lisa Chiriseri and under that Association they launched the Annual African Women Awards in 2015. She is also the Author of an e-book titled "44 Secrets To Healthy Hair", where she shares DIY solutions for natural hair. She has achieved all of this under the age of 30.
