My Name Is Peter Walkden, the man behind “Walkden Entertainment”. I’ve always had a passion and love for film and acting. In 1997 I was lucky enough to work part time at my local video store, where I was trained in retail sales as well the beginning for my passion for films grew. In 2017 I decided to share my love for films with the rest of the world and Walkden Entertainment was born.

The Elephant Man (1980) - Movie Review
Frederick (Anthony Hopkins) is a professional surgeon who discovers a disfigured man known as "The Elephant Man".  The Elephant Man became disfigured when his mother had a tragic accident involving Elephants while she was pregnant.  The man spends his day as a side-show freak living behind a mask and behind the curtain.  He is also abused and mistreated by a man who represents him. When an opportunity occurs, Frederick decides to reach out and attempt to help The Elephant Man.  He soon discovers underneath his mask, and disfigured face is a man who is full intelligence, kindness and more. Hearts and Bones (2019) - Movie Review
A man named Dan Fisher, is getting ready for a large exhibition which allows him to present his life's work.  Daniel is a professional photographer who is best known for taking photos in the middle the most dangerous battlefields around the world. While leading up to his exhibition a man discovers that Dan may have photos from a massacre from his home village.  The man seeks Dan out and requests that these photos be removed from his exhibition as he feels his family have suffered enough. Top Secret! (1984) - Movie Review
Rock and roll singer, Nick Rivers (Val Kilmer) accepts an invitation to travel to Germany and perform live in concert.  While visiting Germany, he soon falls for a beautiful girl, and Nick finds himself involved with the resistance who are attempting to rescue a scientist who is being held captive in a German prison.  Well, this all sounds like a dramatic war film right? Wrong! For those who are not aware, Top Secret (1984) is 100% a comedy spoof movie! The film loaded with witty jokes, slapstick humour and lots of random comedic moments. Colour Out of Space (2019) - Movie Review
Based on a short story written by the famous H.P. Lovecraft. Color Out of Space follows the Gardner family. The family live on an isolated farm living a quiet life since leaving the noisy city lifestyle. Soon a large meteorite lands right in front of their home. At 1st the meteorite seems exciting and somewhat odd but little do they know, this meteorite is something to be concerned about. Soon the family begin to suffer life-changing and horrific consequences. Surrounding the home shows unusual activity. A young couple Gemma (Imogen Poots) and Tom (Jesse Eisenberg) are struggling to find the perfect home. After work, the two decide to visit a new real estate agent seeing what is new to offer. They hear about a new community that is being developed with lots of new homes at affordable pricing. But strange things begin to occur for Gemma and Tom. While looking at what could be there new home, the real estate vanishes and disappears. Gemma and Tom decide to try leave the property, but they cannot escape. After failing to bring in a prisoner to justice, officer Coffee (Ed Helms) isn't having much luck at work.  Thankfully one thing in Coffee's life that is positive is the relationship with a woman named Vanessa (Taraji P. Henson). While Coffee and Vanessa are head over heel in love, Vanessa suggests now is the time for Coffee to get know her son, Kareem (Terrence (Little Gardenhigh).  When Coffee is asked to pick up Kareem from school, Kareem has other plans which don't work out that way he expected... Astronaut (2019) - Movie Review
Angus (Richard Dreyfuss) is an old man who lives with his daughter’s family and is a widower. Angus has had a lifelong dream of one day becoming an Astronaut and going into space. But unfortunately for Angus, this never happened in his life. However, Angus soon discovers that a billionaire is running a new competition which will allow one lucky winner to go into space. Angus decides to enter to the competition, but in order to qualify he lies about his age. Soon it is announced across the world that Angus is now a runner up and it’s up to the world to vote who gets to be the winner.

The Platform (2019) - Movie Review
Set in the future, our film is located at a vertical prison where two people share one cell per level.  In the centre of their cell, there is a large square hole.  During the day a large palm comes down and brings food to the cellmates.  The only problem is that this platform starts at the top of the jail and works its way down.  The means that depending on what floor your're on you might not get any food to eat at all.  One man, wakes up and finds himself as prisoner on level 18 with another inmate. So I Married An Axe Murderer (1993) - Movie Review
Charlie (Mike Myers) is a nice guy who hasn’t had much luck with women.  Breaking up with woman because they smelt like soup or another instance when Charlie suspects her girlfriend was part of the Russian Mafia.  But things so promise for Charlie when he meets Harriet (Nancy Travis).  Charlie and Harriet begin to date but Charlie begins to suspect something is very sinister about Harriet and considers she is the axe murderer in which he hears about from the news.  Is Charlie the next victim or is this worry all in his own head.   Please Play to hear my thoughts (spoiler free) on “So, I Married An Axe Murderer” (1993).
