Welcome to Season 4!
Three years and 44 episodes later and we are still here!
The Case Against Trump
President Trump has been indicted three times. The last one is important because it outlines how our democracy was at risk after the 2020 presidential election. What happens next could determine whether the USA remains a democracy or becomes a dictatorship.

RIP Tina Turner. We thank you for using your voice to make great music and to speak out about domestic violence.
When is enough, ENOUGH?
As of today there have been 146 mass shootings in America this year. The main cause of this problem is not mental illness or bullying. It is too many guns, period. We need common sense gun laws and we need them now!
Angela Bassett and Every Black Woman
Angela Bassett is one of the greatest actresses of our time and has never won an Oscar. She had a right to be disappointed. Her reaction is one that most black women have had to give. Frankly, we are tired of clapping for everyone else as we are passed over.
Whose History?
White privilege is when your history is the curriculum and everyone's else is an elective.
With 1.6 trillion dollars of buying power its time for us to invest in educating our children about our African American History.
Taking Care
Most of us will be a caregiver and need a caregiver at some point in our lives. These are some of my reflections about caregiving.
Real Problems and Privilege Problems
Much of what we consider to be problems are not really problems at all. Let's focus on the real problems and find some solutions.
Distractions : Welcome to Season 3
It's hard to believe that it's been five months since I published an episode, but I've been distracted. Now I'm back, refocused, and ready to share my thoughts and my story. And you should too!
The Oscars, The Slap, and The Village
History was made at the Oscars: Will Smith won an Oscar and slapped Chris Rock. But the "village", Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry stepped in. Why I believe that this is a teachable moment and how we need to be "the village" for each other.
How Did I Get Here?
It was 8:00 a.m. and 25 degrees and I was walking back and forth in the pool. And I wondered, "How did I get here?"

Let's Change the Narrative
These are my reflections about the current state of the United States of America.
History is Watching Us
January 6th, 2021 is a day that will go down in history. There was the triumph of the Georgia election of Warnock and Ossoff and the tragedy of the attempted coup at the United States Capitol. History is watching us. How will we respond?
Choosing Gratitude
2020 has been quite a year. But we can choose to see it as half full, instead of half empty.
We Need The Light of the World!
The election, the vaccine, and Christmas are all in the news. Our democracy works and we have two vaccines but we still need The Light of the World.
As we light our Christmas lights, Hanukkah menorah, or Kwanzaa kinara let us remember to shine the light of love and good will in everything that we do.
Happy Holidays!

Biden and Harris: It's a Good Day to be a Black Woman
The election of Kamala Harris makes it possible for me to say that 'it's a good day to be a Black woman,' too many times in my life. When one black woman gets ahead, it's a victory for all of us. I am glad that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will hold the highest elected offices in the United States. Maybe now we can heal and some work can get done.
Where is the Love?
There is so much divisiveness right now in America. If we want to continue to be the United States of America, then we need to make some changes.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg - Legacy and Leadership
The Notorious RBG left a legacy of strength and courage. Let's honor her legacy by contacting our Senators and telling them that we want the appointment to be delayed until after January 21, 2021. And we must vote!
