He was the zombie corpse collector,
Always collecting from everywhere,
Dead and deadly things he collected.
All through the day and all through the night,
He collected every dead thing in his sight.

He was the Halloween corpse collector,
Collecting dead animals and plants,
Anything that did not move and breathe.
He collected zombie people and zombie parts,
Hands, legs, tongues, and beating hearts.

The Corpse Collector was always on the prowl,
He was a vampire as he thirsted for fresh blood.
Every night the villagers saw the moon and heard his howl.
He was seen moving and hunting in every wood,
He was filled with evil and there was no good.

The villagers said that he could not die,
He was an immortal corpse and soul collector.
They said that he had the vampire's eye,
He could turn into a bat and eerily fly.

Everyone did not speak about the corpse collector,
Out of disgust, hatred, and out of great fear.
They said that he once had a human heart,
That some pretty lady shredded it and ripped it apart.

The zombie corpse collector is out this Halloween,
With his bags of evil tricks and treats never seen.
Close your doors and stay in tonight,
Or you will happen to fall in his sight.
He will collect you dead or alive so have all the fear,
The zombie corpse collector has arrived and is here.

He was the zombie corpse collector,

The flames leaped at him,
As he screamed into the fire.
The fire was his enemy,
It had taken everyone he loved.
The fires had destroyed his life,
He was a victim of those flames.
Every Halloween he lit a large fire,
Which he stoked with hatred and anger.

He saw the ghosts in the flames,
He knew them all by their names.
Memories and bitterness he never forgot,
As the flames grew stronger and so hot.
The fires lit up the burning coals,
Searing his heart with gaping holes.
He cursed the flames and fire every Halloween,
Every burning ember was brighter it seemed.

The ghosts of the flames reached out to him,
They wanted to take him into that fire.
He was so tormented, with chains of guilt and shame,
Every ghost in that fire knew his murderous name.
The cursed man who screamed at the fires,
Had a soul filled with evil that burns fires.

It was another killing night for him this Halloween,
Killing innocent people in wildfires unseen.
His dark and evil soul was always condemned to be,
Burning in the embers and fires of evil for all eternity.
He was the evil spirit of a dark and deadly Halloween,
Filled with unspeakable deeds and work unseen.

There are times when your self-confidence as a writer will be shaken. It could be the time when something changes in the life that you are comfortable living. It could be something personal at home or at work, or it could be something in the literary sphere.

When your mind is confused due to an issue at home or at work you cannot think straight. On that particular day, you just cannot get yourself to write anything. All the ideas that you had and the opinions that you wished to express seem to disappear like smoke.

However, every day is not the same and life is all about change. As a writer, there is yet another part of your existence that you depend on, that of your literary work. Perhaps, you have lost a follower, a reader, or a friend and that has an effect on you as a writer.

I read a prompt about hair and decided to create a number of poems based on the prompt. Over the course of one day, I thought up five different ideas. Each idea is from a different perspective. This is a great opportunity to unleash your creativity as a writer and be able to create more poems and stories. This is the method I created and followed to create multiple poems from one basic idea.
