In this episode we spend the entire time in the Big (and we mean BIG) Conversation where the group discuss whether or not we have a moral obligation to help someone in distress, and if we should have a legal obligation. This week's conversation was inspired by this tragic story that took place just down the road from us. We welcome Callie and Rahel on to the Realist, and close out with Rachel's reflections.

This week's The Realist was recorded IN PERSON again as our sessions have returned IRL and so is a little bit echoey.

If you are a young person and would like to speak to someone about your feelings you can get free counselling support at kooth.com.

In this episode Thaisa and Shay interrogate each other, Muhammad recaps the Grammys, we have a new dialogue from Thaisa and Selena, a new poem 'A Seat at The Table' from Hamidha and Rachel reflects on the episode.  This week's big conversation is about what it is like to be a woman today.

Roddy also shares some resources if anyone would like support in respect to sexual harassment.

No woman should ever be objectified, dehumanised or be made to feel they are worth less because of their gender.  Please know that if you have been subject to harassment or sexual assault you have done nothing wrong and it is not your fault. Try to speak to a trusted adult or get help from:

If you want to know more about consent visit brook.org.uk or watch 'the cup of tea' consent video on YouTube

There are lots of handy tips for anyone to stay safe when out an about from the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.
