Simone Springer is a comedian, writer, tv/radio host from Perth, Western Australia. Simone stops by to chat comedy and inform us that Perth's Covid concerns are quite small after a successful lockdown. 

After we had so much fun on Drinks With the Band, Ron Gallo decided to come back! He videos in from Nashville to give us a killer Michael Mcdonald impression, along with discussing his new album, creative direction, and why he probably belongs in an east coast city. 

Comedian, actor, speaker, and man who's lived more life than all of us, Michael Colyar joins the show. Michael is in town to play Helium Comedy Club, he schools us on his life, the state of everything, and more. Wonderful conversation.

Shawn James stops by to discuss his career, touring Europe with The Maness Bros, and the surreal nature of Sony purchasing rights to his song for the video game "The Last of Us 2".  Shawn rocks us out with three great songs. Pat from Barkeep decides its time to introduce a sock puppet to the show, making cocktails wasn't enough. Parks and Recreation star Jim O'Heir joins to tell us about his initial audition, what led him to becoming Jerry, and how he's handling quarantine. Our musical guest, Mark Rose, singer of Spitalfield swings by for 3 songs and some conversation. 

Dara Resnik drops by and gives a play by play account of how she has worked her way up writing, producing, and a little bit of everything in the entertainment industry. Some great advice and wonderful conversation with an industry professional who also spends time teaching the next wave of pros at USC. 

Dara Resnik - Co-creator/co-showrunner for the new AppleTV+ mystery/thriller series "Home Before Dark." The show dropped all 10 episodes on April 3rd and has been praised for being a great binge-worthy family watch during quarantine.

Virtual Happy Hour Week 4

Welcome to back to another week of the most fun happy hour happening at home, our Virtual Happy Hour! This week, we once again have some awesome guests and music along with in addition to some tasty quarantine cocktails from our friends at STL Barkeep.

For our first cocktail, a (sleeveless) Pat Gioia makes a Till vodka infusion using a French press and common violets that you can find in your own backyard, making this a perfect recipe if your quarantine resources are dwindling.

Next, we chat with Tom Halaska of Well Being Brewing about their great selection of delicious and non-alcoholic brews and his process of building a brand. Don’t let a pandemic stop you from trying them as you can have them delivered from your local grocery store!

Matt Longueville brings us our next quarantine cocktail made with bourbon, fresh blueberries, and honey. Matt recommends enjoying this cocktail while sitting on your porch (6 feet away from others, of course).

For our musical guest, we are joined by The River Kittens. The talented duo talks with us about how they’re staying practiced during these times, and how they keep engaged with their audience via online livestream concerts. The River Kittens then preform a couple of songs for us.

The fellas talk about life on the road, some of the musical inspiration behind Futurebirds, as well as Womack's songwriting. Tiger King is discussed, as well as some great questions and comments from the live stream viewers. Welcome to Week 2 of Virtual Happy Hour featuring Jessimae Peluso and Katie Toupin!

Chris Denman is joined by Pat Gioia and Matt Longueville from STL Barkeep. Pat teaches us how to make a fruity quarantine cocktail with banana, orange, strawberry and lemon, so if your spring break on the beach was canceled, you can at least enjoy a tropical cocktail.

Our first guest is comedian Jessimae Peluso who has been featured on MTV’s “Girl Code” and Lights Out with David Spade. Jessimae brought on a surprise guest - John Stamos! Or, at least, a very dramatic framed photo of him. Jessimae chats with us about quarantine activities such as learning guitar (potentially), potentially becoming the “Crock Pot Killer,” beef stew, and some interesting alternative sources of income (hit up her Cameo if you wanna buy feet pics). Jessimae also brings on a second surprise guest - her late father in a travel-sized urn.

If you need another drink to process all that, so did we, and thankfully Matt Longueville was there to teach us another quarantine cocktail recipe, this time a unique cocktail inspired by prohibition. Matt makes the bourbon-based drink with maple syrup and eggs so you have every excuse to enjoy it as a breakfast cocktail (Plus, we’re in quarantine so are there really any rules for when to start drinking??)

Finally, we were joined by musical guest Katie Toupin to discuss her music and the digital age of the music industry (Like Jessimae, Katie offers feet pics on the highest level of her patreon, btw #SupportArtists). Using her neices ukelele, Katie performs some of her music, including the single “Don’t Wanna Die,” which was very ironically named prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, and describes the story behind it.

Well, times are interesting to say the least. Matt Longueville & Pat Gioia join Chris Denman in studio for the first ever 'Virtual Happy Hour'. Quarantine's are suggested and they're better with bourbon cocktails. The fellas run through ingredients, history, and best practices to make a special cocktail at home while we wait out the corona virus. Comedian, Ian Bagg, from Last Comic Standing stops by to chat via video call from Long Beach, CA. The Canadian comic talks hockey, introduces us to his French Bulldog "Pearl" his rescue dog "Lou", and talks about the time he hung out with Logan Paul. The show closes out with a Gaslight Session from Jordan Suter, an STL musician.
