Hello! Welcome to the We For Women podcast, I’m Julie and this is season 3!

In this episode, we welcome Camille, a very close friend of mine who is a landscape architect in Glasgow. We talk about her journey from France to Scotland, growing up in a loving family, and studying in international schools. Camille discusses making friends everywhere she goes, keeping in touch with them and evolving in a new country. Camille also navigates with trying to please everyone by saying yes to everything, cooking, and genuinely caring about things and people she loves. So why as women do we care so much? Are we scared to be rejected, afraid of what people will see of us? How do we protect ourselves from being taken advantage of? We try to answer these questions together, so please have a listen to this new episode and let us know what you think!

In this podcast, I invite Becky -who you may know from season 1!- to talk with me about her passion for music, the female artists she likes and her own art of singing and performing in Toronto. Grace is a singer & musician, she is a specialist singing teacher, musical director & she describes herself as an "all-round musical nerd living and working in Liverpool". She moved there for University and never left. She thrives on building up people and communities through music education and performance.

Hello! For the fifth episode, we sat down (on Zoom!) with Robyn Bowyer, the Marketing and Events lead at the Blackburne House. We talked about the history of the building and the organisation, its role and mission and the team's wonderful efforts before and during the pandemic to give women access to counselling, ressources, courses and grants. 

The Blackburne House, a listed building at the heart of the Georgian Quarter supports the development of local –and often vulnerable- women. It provides education, resources and wellbeing for women.

Happy New Year! Welcome back to the We For Women podcast. For the fourth episode, we had a chat (on Zoom!) with Laura Ferries, a Scouse teacher and poet, who spent three years abroad. She talked about her cultural experience in a different country and her creative process.
