#003 - How we are moving from a pyramidal masculine model of awakening to a circular feminine model
Tej Steiner is the founder of heartcircle.com and author of 'Waking Up - With Everyone Around Us'. In this very personal podcast interview, Tej shares the '5 Ways of Being' - which transcend religious beliefs and lead to more presence.   - Being clear  - Being present  - Being real  - Being connected  - Being heart-directed   Far beyond the words though you'll learn why most of us find it so hard to acknowledge our own needs. How most of us are constantly in the 'giving channel' which leaves us depleted and clogging our receiving channel and what that means for our lives. If we are not able to open the receiving channel we will burn out - individually and collectively.   How the simple agreements of a heart circle can be used in all forms of group relating, from intimate relationships to families to work environments and communities.    It's a safe environment and a place where we can practice and experience presence and connection to our disowned parts.    The mind is supposed to be used for strategy after we identify what you truly want and from the gut what we truly need. Yet we collectively are overusing our minds for all decision making.  The agreements for heart circle are like a code - a code of light of what is true. The point to and answer questions like -   - Why am I here  - What the purpose of me doing something before I do it  - How can I go from constant strategising to drop into stillness  - Can I feel emotions without splashing and repressing  - How can I be more present  - How can I be more kind   If we collectively start to value these questions and set agreements, we'll experience a new way of being in relationship with ourself and others. People are hungry and craving for being naturally good together. ---- at SARVA we believe in preserving and developing the everyday genius of our young people - the next generation. #001 - Interpreting the mysteries of the indigenous people of South America to heal the western world
Marc-John Brown or MJB is a talented practitioner of modern shamanism, a practice he's studied since 2008 under the expert guidance and tutelage of Noe Lopez, one of 6 Shipibo brothers – all of whom work extensively with plant medicines. Noe has 23 years of experience in Curanderismo and is a lineage shaman of his own tradition – the Shipibo tradition. MJB's studies have taken him to work and be in contact with, the native tribes of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Korea and Malaysia. He believes that embracing these ancient ways of existing in perpetual exchange and harmony with our surroundings is key to a long and prosperous future for our planet and for our future generations and like his maestro, Noe, MJB is an advocate of Western participation in traditional ceremonies, allowing all nationalities to experience the healing powers of Ayahuasca, which as with all plant medicines are very beneficial for healing the body, soul, and mind. In this episode we'll explore: • Plant medicine and its relevance for transformation in the western world • How he’s creating a blueprint on earth for sustainable community living • The importance of respect for the people, the plants and the healing they bring • What makes MJB unique in a world of modern-day shaman… in his own words, this “lights him up” • How he was able to identify the reality, the difference between who he’d become and who he was destined to be Plus • Something he’s never shared before publicly: the catalyst for everything he’s become and the pain he feels every day when he remembers it! ---- at SARVA we believe in preserving and developing the everyday genius of our young people - the next generation.
