CASE UPDATES - Leigh Egan of Crime Online Interview
On this edition of Websleuths Radio Podcast, we welcome our favorite true crime reporter Leigh Egan from Crimeonline.com who gives us the latest  updates on several high profile cases, including the murder of Paighton Houston. Now they want to charge him with “abuse of a corpse,” but they can’t find him. Leigh gives us the latest. Anthony Todt confessed to killing his family along with their dog, but why and what was his “noticeable smell” all about? Finally, Leigh updates us on the tragic case of Heidi Broussard. Heidi was murdered allegedly by a childhood friend for her baby. Are we any closer to finding out the truth about what happened to Magen Fieramusca?

DOES CHICAGO HAVE A SERIAL KILLER AT LARGE? - Thomas Hargrove Interview
Tricia Griffith speaks with Websleuths member Thomas Hargrove of the Murder Accountability Project about a series of 51 unsolved murders of women in Chicago.  The Murder Accountability Project, a nonprofit group, used Thomas Hargrove's algorithm to map 51 unsolved strangulation cases that took place on the west and south sides of Chicago between 2001 and 2018. The 51 murders have striking similarities: all the victims were women, most of the victims were discovered outside in a public place, 76 percent were African American, and 75 percent of the crimes had a “clear sexual component." Can an algorithm catch a serial killer? Detective Trapp podcast Anaheim investigator Julissa Trapp is not like other detectives.
