Knowing how to manage your emotions is the difference between staying stuck on your couch in fight or flight and building a successful business, between going to bed and asking "Why did I say that?" and being proud of how you responded to a rude mother effer, between feeling inner peace and being imprisioned by your feelings.
If you want to step into your power and be the leader of your life you need to learn how to manage your emotions and love yourself through it rather than making them the enemy.
