Special Episode 48: Deeper Dive into Joseph Mandate (VIP Guest: Michael Adeyemi Adefarasin)

Special Episode 48: Deeper Dive into Joseph Mandate (VIP Guest: Michael Adeyemi Adefarasin)

📕Pre-Order Sale of Joseph Mandate book can be purchased NOW at Amazon https://a.co/d/84gat0n 📒Barnes & Nobles- https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/book/1144320004 🎊We have a very special guest-Michael Adeyemi Adefarasin who is an Ambassador for Christ, Apostle, and Author of soon to be released new book “Joseph Mandate.” Alexandria and Timbuktu by extension Africa were the cradles of ancient civilisation, they built Palaces, Safe harbours, Lighthouses, the greatest library in the world, the greatest museum of antiquities, It boasted of Architectural feats, their mathematical genius, understanding of Sciences, astronomy and a myriad of other things that blessed the world. World food day is celebrated every October starting on October 16th with theme of “The future of food is in our hands” so this discussion goes into a deeper dive of how we can use Joseph Mandate new book to address the food Wahala issues we are facing. Africa was the crucible of all great cultures and minds of the ancient world through Alexandria. In fact, in biblical times Africa played very crucial roles such as preserving the posterity of the Hebrews, being a place of refuge for Jesus during the time of Herod, Queen of Sheba’s wealth came from Africa supporting the kingdom expansion, the Ethiopian Eunuch and Candice the Queen from Ethiopia. The Joseph mandate book is about God raising up a Joseph type company of people mandated to spearhead systemic reformation and transformation for sustainable socioeconomic growth to empower the continent for the fulfilment of its redemptive purpose. The time has come for Africa to arise and to provide leadership (spiritual and economic) to the world (Isa 19:19). Revival shall come out of Cush (Ps 68:32). The Joseph Mandate is about God releasing mantles and activating giftings to empower those within and the diaspora to take responsibility for the reformation and transformation of the continent for the advancement of the kingdom of God in the earth. Thus, this book is about how God would use a Joseph type people to rebuild Africa so as to preserve a posterity of Jehovah’s seed and secure His remnant in the earth (Gen45:5-7). The book will serve as a blueprint and mandate for sustainable development and Africa’s transformation for a #ResilientAfrica. Wellness & Wahala scriptures for the week: 19 In that day there will be an altar to Adonai in the middle of the land of Egypt, and next to the border a pillar to Adonai. (Isaiah 19:19) 32 Nobles come from Egypt. Cush runs to stretch her hands to God. (Psalm 32: 4) Wishing you no Wahala this week. Episode 83: Israel-Walking where Yeshua Jesus walked in the Holy Land

The Dream Trip to Israel Holy Land was an AMAZING life changing significant experience. Eight of my family and friends toured Israel for 8 days-and the biblical numeric meaning of eight is “new beginnings”! We explored Israel's holy sites can be a profoundly enriching experience. Consider visiting places like Jerusalem's Old City with the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Dome of the Rock. Also, we went to Bethlehem, Nazareth, and the Sea of Galilee area for a comprehensive holy land tour. Remember to research and plan ahead to make the most of your visit and contact the best travel agent-Toyin Travel Agency on the best trip deals to any destinations ✈️📲 linktr.ee/toyintravelagency and start preparing as Africa is very significant to Israel 🇮🇱 and see the link to recent press release by Secretary of State 🇺🇸on upcoming global food crisis famine, we have 7 years to prepare 🌍 www.state.gov/secretary-antony-j-blinken-after-the-un-security-council-open-debate-on-famine-and-conflict-induced-global-food-insecurity/ 🇮🇱 Israel is a country located in the Middle East, bordered by Lebanon to the north, Syria to the northeast, Jordan to the east, Egypt to the southwest, and the Mediterranean Sea to the west. It is a land with significant historical, religious, and cultural importance for various faiths, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Jerusalem, the capital city, holds special significance for these religions and is home to important religious sites such as the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Other notable cities include Tel Aviv, known for its modernity and vibrant nightlife, and Haifa, which is an important port city.

Israel has a diverse population, including Jewish, Arab, Christian, and other communities. The country is known for its technological advancements, particularly in fields like cybersecurity, agriculture, and medical research. Its landscapes range from the desert region of the Negev to the lush Galilee and Golan Heights in the north.

Tourism is a significant industry in Israel, attracting visitors to its historical sites, religious landmarks, and natural beauty. However, political and security considerations should be taken into account when planning a trip-and use again Toyin Travel Agency to plan your next trip. Bless up! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Episode 77: Global Tourism Resilience Day (Host: Dr. Tomi-OmoOba)

Wellness Wahala Warriors how you Dey/how are you? Hope you Dey well o! Today we mark ‘Global Tourism Resilience Day’ which is coming up and celebrated annually every 17th of February. ✈️ The theme for this year is “Resilient tourism”- For many developing countries, including the least developed countries, small island developing states, countries in Africa and middle-income countries, tourism is a major source of income, foreign currency earnings, tax revenue and employment. Because tourism connects people with nature, sustainable tourism has the unique ability to spur environmental responsibility and conservation. 2 of my favorite African proverbs on tourism and travel are: “Travel teaches how to see” & “Travel is Learning” ✈️ My CALL TO ACTION is to travel and contact the best free travel agent “Toyin Travel Agency” and explore the beautiful diversity of various nations, people, culture, food and more. Oya, don’t dull and delay and start planning your next tourism travel ASAP. Wellness Wahala Warriors-Happy New Year #2023 🎉 We made it o, and all glory to Baba God. In this episode I continue my “Rhythm of Reflections” series and the key word focus to reflect on today is “Gratitude”🤎 I am thankful we all made it and we are still standing despite the various unprecedented Wahala’s we all faced this past year-God has been faithful! Here are some gratitude scriptures that will help you avoid various Wahala this season: 🙏🏿Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 🙏🏿Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 🙏🏿But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 🙏🏿We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 2 Thessalonians 1:3 🙏🏿Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34 🙏🏿For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. Romans 11:36 🙏🏿I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1 🙏🏿And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 🙏🏿Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 🙏🏿Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2 🙏🏿You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:11🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎Also, follow #WellnessWahala on Instagram to join in the 21 Days No Wahala Prayer & Praise and WARship challenge. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ - - -  Wellness Wahala Sponsors: 🍵Easa Greens- Get 20% off all organic products of teas, honey, and more with code 'WELLNESS20 or DRTOMI20’ https://linktr.ee/easagreens 🙌🏾Seek Jesus Apparel- Get 15% off everything and Use promo code GODisINVOLVED15 at checkout https://seekjesus.co ✈️Toyin Travel Agency-Mention WELLNESS WAHALA Podcast when booking for great travel deals https://linktr.ee/toyintravelagency 🥘ToMuTi Cookbook- https://a.co/8A1yAOf - - - Socials: ➡️Follow on Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/drtomiomooba ➡️Follow on Instagram: https://instagram.com/wellnesswahala ➡️Follow on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WahalaWednesdays ➡️Subscribe on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@WellnessWahala 📡NIDO Radio 24/7 online- https://nidoradio.nidoamericassouthsavannah.org/ 💻Grant Proposal Webinar free course and templates: https://yali.state.gov/courses/course-2052/

Episode 71: International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists

Episode 71: International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists

Today November 2-is the “International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists”! The theme for this year United Nations 🇺🇳 observance is: “Countering threats of violence and crimes against journalists to protect freedom of expression for all.” Ending impunity for crimes against journalists is one of the most pressing issues to guarantee freedom of expression and access to information for all citizens. Between 2006 and 2020, over 1,200 journalists have been killed for reporting the news and bringing information to the public. In nine out of ten cases the killers go unpunished, according to the UNESCO observatory of killed journalists. Impunity leads to more killings and is often a symptom of worsening conflict and the breakdown of law and judicial systems. While killings are the most extreme form of media censorship, journalists are also subjected to countless threats - ranging from kidnapping, torture and other physical attacks to harassment, particularly in the digital sphere. Threats of violence and attacks against journalists, in particular, create a climate of fear for media professionals, impeding the free circulation of information, opinions and ideas for all citizens. Women journalists are particularly impacted by threats and attacks, notably by those made online. According to UNESCO’s discussion paper, The Chilling: Global trends in online violence against women journalists, 73 percent of the women journalists surveyed said they had been threatened, intimidated and insulted online in connection with their work. In many cases, threats of violence and attacks against journalists are not properly investigated. This impunity emboldens the perpetrators of the crimes and at the same time has a chilling effect on society, including journalists themselves. UNESCO is concerned that impunity damages whole societies by covering up serious human rights abuses, corruption, and crime. Read and share the stories of killed journalists #TruthNeverDies and #WellnessWahala #EndImpunity. African Proverb of the Week: “Peace is Costly but it is worth the expense” & “Don’t Celebrate War, Cry for Peace” -Kenyan 🇰🇪Proverb. Episode 69: International Day of People of African Descent (VIP Guest: Collins Ikegwuonu)

Episode 69: International Day of People of African Descent (VIP Guest: Collins Ikegwuonu)

“Honouring the contributions of the African diaspora” is the theme for “The International Day for People of African Descent” will be celebrated for the first time on 31 August 2021. I have special VIP Guest-President of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) South Savannah, Mr. Collins Ikegwuonu, to give us great gist on why we are observing this viral day Wellness & Wahala Warriors and people of African descent and our royal 👸🏾 🤴🏾African heritage. Through this Observance the United Nations aims to promote the extraordinary contributions of the African diaspora around the world and to eliminate all forms of discrimination against people of African descent. International days reflect the values that society shares. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and have the potential to contribute constructively to the development and well-being of their societies. Any doctrine of racial superiority is scientifically false, morally condemnable, socially unjust, and dangerous and must be rejected, together with theories that attempt to determine the existence of separate human races. The United Nations strongly condemns the continuing violent practices and excessive use of force by law enforcement agencies against Africans and people of African descent and condemns structural racism in criminal justice systems around the world. The Organization further acknowledges the Transatlantic Slave Trade as one of the darkest chapters in our human history and upholds human dignity and equality for the victims of slavery, the slave trade and colonialism, in particular people of African descent in the African diaspora. Episode 66: A Wellness Wahala Bike Journey from London to Lagos (VIP Guest: Kunle Adeyanju)

Wellness Wahala Warriors, I have a special VIP guest today- the legendary Mr. Kunle Adeyanju: the famous Rotarian and Biker 🚴‍♀️ who rode his bike from London to Lagos. I was glad to host the show today in partnership with Linkway Diplomats show and Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) South Savannah & NIDO radio. He was recently featured on CNN and here is a brief overview of our discussion and his empowering story; “Lagos, Nigeria (CNN) — Kunle Adeyanju is a self-confessed daredevil who has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro twice and cycled from Lagos to Accra over three days. But it is his latest adventure that is creating a buzz after he successfully completed a motorcycle ride from London to Lagos. The journey took 41 days as he traveled 13,000 kilometers (8,080 miles) through 11 countries and 31 cities. Adeyanju embarked on the trip partly to raise money for polio, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, Nigeria, where he is president-elect. He says he chose the cause because of a childhood friend who suffered from the debilitating illness. "Polio is a personal thing for me... as a boy, my best friend had polio and when we go swimming or play football, he could do none of those things.. Sadly, my friend passed away some years back. If he hadn't had polio, he probably will still be alive today." The World Health Organization declared Nigeria free of wild polio virus in 2020, but there are still some vaccine-derived cases in the country.” To listen to the full interview live please visit Linkway diplomats YouTube channel and drop your comments, like and share at this link: https://youtu.be/Au0lb_uqaZc

Episode 61: The State of the Nation-Nigeria & Diaspora (VIP Guest: Legendary Lanre ‘eLDee’ Dabiri)

Wellness and Wahala Warriors I have special VIP guest and Governance Gist today with Legendary-Lanre Dabiri (eLDee)!

eLDee is credited as one of the pioneers of the afrobeats music genre. In 1998, he started a band called Trybesmen which went on to be one of the music groups that popularized the fusion of Hip-hop, highlife, pop, and contemporary afrobeat music. Trybesmen were a continental hit by the year 2000 and played a pivotal role in the shaping of the new music genre that became known to the rest of the world as “Afrobeats”.

eLDee signed a total of 16 artists to his Trybe Records label. Alongside his music group Trybesmen and other Trybe Records artists, and despite a lack of infrastructure, they produced the massive hit singles “Shake Bodi”, “Plenty nonsense”, "Work it" and "Oya" between 1999 and 2002. eLDee is also credited for jump-starting what became the largest physical distribution network for music and movies (Nollywood) across the African continent in 2001, which enabled the initial reach and influence of Nigerian entertainment across the continent and internationally.

After moving to the United States in 2002, eLDee recorded 4 solo albums. He won "Best International Album" at the 2007 Nigeria Entertainment Awards in New York City and was nominated in the category of “Best African artist” at the internationally acclaimed and UK-hosted MOBO (Music of black origin) awards in 2009. He was one of the first Nigerian artists to secure international music collaborations with US artists and was featured on CNN for his hit single “One day” in 2011.

eLDee has worked as an artist, songwriter, producer, director, and interactive media consultant. On this episode we discuss with NIDO co-host Mr. Collins Chucks on Governance Gist about the state of Nigeria and the vital importance of the Diaspora. In addition, we also discuss the recent sad outcome of the Nigerian Senators and House of reps not passing and voting YES to the recent Diaspora voting bill which would have allowed us in diaspora to have a vote in helping choose better leaders to transform our nation. As 2023 presidential elections is approaching the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization has implemented an online petition with 5 urgent request and we ask you to sign and support at this link:
chng.it/dBL2qW9CKG eLDee drops great gems and tips on how to transform our nation starting with better policies and also socioeconomic empowerment and more.
