Spontaneous Instruction
By Wendy Tanagho
Spontaneous Instruction is a podcast for English teachers, group leaders, or anyone who needs to get people talking in a pinch. As an adult English language instructor, I often find my planned lessons giving way to unplanned discussions and games. In the podcast, I document how this has worked, or not, what basic elements I try to have in every lesson or discussion (whether planned or not), and how I stay flexible and ready to go with the flow without sacrificing valuable Instruction time.

Getting started
In this episode I’ll share a little bit about my teaching experiences and why I started this podcast. I’ll also share a recent activity I used in the first class after a holiday break, and I’ll give you ideas about how to make those “first day of class” activities comfortable and accessible for everyone.
