Ep 144: How To Say Goodbye // Draw The Line Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Are there things in your life today that don’t align with your vision of tomorrow? What do you need to leave behind as you move forward into the future that God has for you?

It’s hard to let go of things. Trust me, I know. It is important to realize that in order for us to experience personal growth and find spiritual success, we need to have necessary endings in our lives.

Boundaries are necessary, and so are endings. That’s why today we will explore:

  • The need to manage expectations and investments in our relationships
  • The concept of pruning and setting boundaries
  • The emotional epidemic of entitlement
  • The dangers of enabling others

If there is a relationship or a situation that is holding you back from reaching your best self, it’s time to let it go. Trust God and His plan for your life.

If this series has made an impact in your life, share it with me by tagging me @biancaolthoff

I Love you, friend,

B

Ep 143: How To Have Sexual Boundaries // Draw The Line Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Ep 143: How To Have Sexual Boundaries // Draw The Line Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Do you find it hard to make sense of the different views on sex in culture? Is it time for you to reevaluate your view of sex? Join me on today’s episode to have an open and honest conversation on… sex.

Society keeps sending mixed signals on what sex is all about. I want us to discuss the topic of sexual boundaries but from a Biblical perspective. It's high time we redeem the narrative that the enemy has stolen from us! That is why we will explore:

  • God's original, good, and divine design for sex
  • Biblical view of sex vs. Cultural view
  • Freedom from sexual shame

We all need practical handles on sexual boundaries in marriage and for singles. Because of that, I’m highlighting the importance of respect, communication, accountability, and non-sexual intimacy.

Sex was God's idea! He intended it for our good. Don’t let the enemy steal that from you. I want you to know that whatever has happened in your life, you can find forgiveness through Jesus and develop a personal intimate relationship with Him.

If you found this topic helpful, let me know by tagging me @biancaolthoff

Love you friend,

B

Quote

I don't want social media. I don't want pop culture. I don't want the ivory tower of academia to define what sex is. No. Sex was God's idea.

Takeaways

  1. Sexual boundaries are for our benefit and not a burden.
  2. Open and honest conversations about sex are necessary in order to break free from shame and cultural narratives.
  3. In marriage, it is important to have regular communication about sexual expectations and desires.
  4. For singles, setting personal boundaries and seeking accountability are key to maintaining purity.
  5. Sex does not guarantee intimacy, and true intimacy is built on emotional and verbal communion.

Ep 142: How To Have Friendship Boundaries // Draw The Line Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Have you turned your boundary line into a boundary wall? If you find yourself lonely because of unrealistic boundaries, today you can take a sledge hammer and Bring.The.Wall.Down.

I want us to have a real talk and address the issues of isolation and loneliness that many people experience. I want to emphasize:

  • The importance of community and relationships
  • The need for boundaries in friendships
  • The challenges that come with maintaining healthy relationships
  • The different levels of friendships
  • Friendship is not codependency

In some cases we can find ourselves looking at our friends and thinking; “what the heck?” That’s because we don’t have a clear definition of what “friend" means and we’ve given access to the wrong people into our friendship circles. I want you to walk away knowing what friendship IS and IS NOT.

Remember that true friendship and fulfillment can be found in Jesus.

Tag me @biancaolthoff and let me know what healthy lines you’ve drawn in your life.

Love you,

Ep 141: How To Have Personal Boundaries // Draw The Line Series with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Do you know how to establish healthy boundaries in your life? Are your boundaries clear to you and to others? Today we start a new series on just that!

This week, I’ll be discussing the importance of drawing clear boundaries and how they can elevate your life. There have been instances where I have allowed my boundaries to be crossed - like a tiny incident I had at an airport. That and other experiences have taught me to be very aware of when my boundaries are being crossed. In this episode, you will walk away knowing:

  • The need for clear boundaries
  • How God created boundaries to bring order out of chaos
  • Consequences for broken boundaries

We will also explore the different types of boundaries, including physical: sexual, emotional, spiritual, and financial boundaries. Establishing healthy boundaries can lead to personal growth, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.

I encourage you to evaluate your own boundaries and seek God's guidance in establishing healthy boundaries in your life. Let me know what are some of the healthy boundaries you have established by tagging me @biancaolthoff

Ep 138: Dealing With Church Hurt, Offense Journal, And Ramming The Gate with Larry Brey Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Ep 138: Dealing With Church Hurt, Offense Journal, And Ramming The Gate with Larry Brey Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Have you ever experienced church hurt? Is there an offense that has been causing you bitterness? If this is your case, I want you to know that I’m so sorry for the hurt that you have experienced.

My friend, Pastor Larry Brey, from Elevation Church, and I sat down to discuss the topic of church hurt and how to overcome it. Our goal is to parse out the realities of:

  • Dealing with and overcoming Church hurt
  • Recognizing offenses and processing them early
  • Practicing gratitude and focusing on personal growth

Church hurt is real. It could stem from a misunderstanding or something else. Please remember, the church didn’t hurt you, a person did. That’s why it is important to speak up and share your hurt. It is also equally important to listen and understand what others are saying and feeling.

Gratitude and offense journals are two practical ways to help you process this hurt. Tag me @BiancaOlthoff and @lbrey and let us know how this practice is making a difference in your life.

Love you,

B

Ep 135: Day 3 - The Weighting Game Series with Leslie Schilling and Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Are you aware of diet culture infiltrating safe spaces like school or church? Everyone is on a journey of their own. I want to make sure that as we talk about the impact of diet culture in the church, that we do it from a place of love, kindness, grace, health, and healing.

I believe that we can have meaningful conversations around the topic of weight by:

  • Being receptive to the needs of others
  • Extending grace and not shaming or judging others
  • Considering everyone’s individual circumstances

Friends, as you continue to walk with God, remember that He is compassionate and gracious. Ask Him to guide you as you grow in relationship with Him and learn to separate yourself from diet culture. Food is a gift from God!

Tag me @biancaolthoff and @leslieschilling and let us know how this conversation has transformed your mindset around food.

Is it really biblical to be chasing a number on the scale?

Takeaways

  1. Diet culture has infiltrated the church and made it an unsafe place for discussions about body image and health.
  2. The 'body as a temple' verse has been misused to shame and judge others based on their appearance.
  3. Fasting can be practiced in a healthy and holy way, but it is important to consider individual circumstances and avoid harmful behaviors.
  4. Alternative fasting options, such as abstaining from social media or comparison, can be just as meaningful and impactful.
  5. Self-discipline should be redefined as honoring hunger and taking care of our bodies, rather than pursuing a specific body size.
  6. Toxic detoxes should be avoided, and emotional eating should be addressed with the help of therapy or other forms of support.

Ep 134: Day 2 - The Weighting Game Series with Leslie Schilling and Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Ep 134: Day 2 - The Weighting Game Series with Leslie Schilling and Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Does it seem like everywhere you go someone is asking you for your weight? Are you tired of obsessing over the number on your weight scale? Real talk - I’m tired too!

Let’s be honest friends, talking about weight issues is uncomfortable. That’s why Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist is back with us for day 2 of The Weighting Game series. Today we discuss:

  • The issues with the scale
  • Bodies are miracles, not math
  • Weight-centric training and health
  • The flaws of BMI and Body Fat Percentage
  • Recognizing disordered eating and body grief
  • Determining health and wholeness beyond numbers

There are so many dangers in pursuing an unrealistic body image. We need to recognize that body diversity is important in our society and that there is no one-size-fits-all definition of health. Overall health and well-being start with healthy connections and relationships. Let’s make it a goal to prioritize holistic health and freedom from diet culture.

You are not alone, friend. Tag me @biancaolthoff and @leslieschilling and share how you are finding food freedom in your life.

Takeaways

  1. Weight-centric training and the focus on the number on the scale can be harmful and perpetuate diet culture.

  3. Body diversity is important, and there is no one-size-fits-all definition of health.
  4. Connections and relationships play a significant role in overall health and well-being.
  5. BMI is not an accurate or reliable measure of health, and body fat percentage should be considered instead.
  6. Disordered eating can manifest in various ways and is not limited to extreme cases.
  7. Determining health and wholeness should involve regular nourishment, movement, good relationships, and self-care.
  8. The goal is to prioritize holistic health and freedom from the constraints of diet culture.

Diet culture has infiltrated many aspects of society, including our homes, medical visits, schools, and even churches. It is so important that we learn about the negative impact of diet culture in our communities and around body image and self-worth. You know I love a good challenge, and this conversation will challenge our traditional beliefs about food and eating.

Stay tuned till the end, friends, and take a quiz with me to help you assess your own relationship with diet culture. Tag me @biancaolthoff and @leslieschilling and let us know if diet culture is at the driver seat of your life. Come back tomorrow for Day 2 of The Weighting Game series!

Quote

Diet culture is this system of beliefs that elevates thin bodies, also elevates certain types of foods, and equates thinness with health and worthiness and beauty. And it touches every part of our culture, everywhere we go.

Takeaways

  1. Diet culture is a system of beliefs that equates thinness with health, worthiness, and beauty.
  2. Diet culture permeates various aspects of society, including our homes, medical visits, schools, and churches.
  3. Body diversity should be celebrated, and thinness should not be equated with beauty or worthiness.
  4. Gluttony is a heart problem, not a problem of what or how much we eat.
  5. Recognizing and challenging diet culture can lead to freedom and a healthier relationship with food.

BONUS Ep 129: The Power of Giving, Believing in the Impossible, Faith For Women and Girls with Bianca Olthoff

Is there a burning desire in your heart to help the less fortunate? Are you ready to sponsor women and girls around the world? I had the privilege of partnering with Convoy of Hope and being part of an event in Puerto Rico to do just that.

We were able to open up the Word of God together and speak to the potential of young girls as individuals. The girls had space and margin to write about their dreams. I too was reminded of my BIG dream:

• Empower young girls and women

• Give back to local communities and churches

• Resource the island to become a hub for the Caribbean

Even though we have not hit the goal yet, we will keep moving towards it. It is our job to believe and it is God’s job to execute it. You can still sponsor a girl for only $25 a year or the amount that God puts in your heart by visiting: convoyofhope.org/bianca

Remember, your dream might seem wildly impossible and you might be disappointed that you have not reached your goal, but know that our God is able and that He is the God of the impossible.

I am grateful for the generous donations of all of you who have already sponsored a girl. Share your stories of hope with us by tagging @BiancaOlthoff and @convoywomen

Love you,

B

Ep 121: Knowing When To Quit, Life Transitions and Leaving With Excellence with Amy Ayala and Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Ep 121: Knowing When To Quit, Life Transitions and Leaving With Excellence with Amy Ayala and Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Do you feel like quitting something? Are you trying to discern if a season is ending? Is there a way to transition out of places well? Sometimes leaving is better than staying, whether it's in a church, job or relationship, but it's not always easy to go. In this podcast, I talk about:

> Knowing when it's time to quit

> The importance of self-awareness

> Discerning your season and life transitions

> Leaving situations and relationships with excellence

Quitting is something no one likes to do, especially when it feels like you may have failed in some way. (I hate quitting, really, I even wrote a book called Grit, Don't Quit!) But sometimes, knowing when to leave something can create space for the new thing that God wants to do in your life. In this episode, I delve into one of the topics in my book and reflect on my own experiences of life transitions.

As you listen, there may be some tough questions that you have to ask yourself but sometimes you need to take a step of faith and trust God's timing! Remember that while leaving can be hard, there are still new people to meet, new places to explore and new experiences to have.

The best is yet to come, friend! Don't forget to tag me @biancaolthoff, I'd love to learn more about how this episode spoke to you.

Love you,

B

Ep 120: Understanding Emotions, Identifying Triggers, and Responding To Trauma with Kobe Campbell

Ep 120: Understanding Emotions, Identifying Triggers, and Responding To Trauma with Kobe Campbell

Is there a past trauma affecting your life? Are you unsure how to respond to triggers that catch you off guard? You don’t have to go through this alone. Healing, redemption, and restoration are possible and Kobe Campbell will walk us through:

- How to deal with uncomfortable emotions

- Learning to identify the need behind our feelings

- Developing an accurate view of who we are called to be

Kobe teaches us to care about our mental and emotional health before we are in a crisis. When you are experiencing an emotion, it is indicating a need. Kobe’s Quotes

Emotions are like the check engine light of the soul.

We live in the stories we tell ourselves.

You have to care about your mental and emotional health before you are in crisis.

There's a difference between feeling a strong emotion that is uncomfortable and being triggered.

Anger is an emotion that tells us that something sacred has been violated and that something needs to be protected.

An overlooked means of wounding someone is with words.

The words that people speak over us create the perception that we have of ourselves, and we live out of that perception.

We are going to get burned out if we are not taking care of ourselves.

Ep 116: Birthdays, Not Being Defined By Your Pain and Jabez's Prayer Request with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Ep 116: Birthdays, Not Being Defined By Your Pain and Jabez's Prayer Request with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Are you walking through a difficult season of life? Do you ever feel like people are focused on what's wrong, instead of what's right? Have you been asking God to bless you with something? We see all of this in Jabez's story, and I'll be diving deep into scripture for today's podcast. In this episode, I talk about:

My birthday and reflecting on this last year
Jabez's story and the lessons we can learn from him
God answering prayers in the midst of our pain
Preparing for God's blessings

Nestled into two verses of scripture, in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, we meet a man by the name of Jabez. He was a man named after pain, but he wasn't defined by it. In this podcast, I want to tell you more about the prayer that Jabez prayed and what we can learn from it. The people around Jabez discounted him but God never did, in fact, we see that Jabez was a man of honor who prepared for what he prayed for.
As you listen, I hope you remember that God is for you and wants to see you win! When we pray, God hears us and goes before us. God is with you in the good and the bad. Jabez had a God-done-did-it testimony and I'm praying the same for you and for me in this next season.
In the meantime, you can tag me @biancaolthoff, I'd love to learn about what God has done, is doing and will do for you!
Love you,
B

Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 NIV

Ep 109: Dating Bootcamp Day 3 - Ready YoSelf

Do you struggle with how to plan a date? Do you know what to do, where to go or who’s going to pay? Today, we round up this Dating Bootcamp series by giving you practical handles that will help you be more prepared before you go out on a date.  The goal of this series has always been for my single friends to go out on a date. Initiating a hangout with someone you are interested in is a good place to start. Remember these things before you go out:  Set healthy boundaries in advance  The person who asks is the person who pays  Come prepared to have a conversation  Give hints not heaps?  Listen to the other person  Be mindful of the type of food you order  Have no form of physical intimacy  So, if you do the work, put your best foot forward, and take yourself seriously you can find a potential candidate and eventually end up in a real dating relationship. Who knows, you might end up finding your life partner in the process!  My hope is that this dating bootcamp helps you in some way. Tag @biancaolthoff and @meaganherself and let us know how your 30 day dating challenge is going.  Love,  B

Ep 107: Dating Bootcamp Day 1 - Getting Dating Right

Ep 107: Dating Bootcamp Day 1 - Getting Dating Right

Have you gone through some type of trauma in past relationships and are hesitant to put yourself out there again? Are you experiencing frustration with your dating life? What if I told you that I want to challenge you to go on a date this month.
We all know that dating can be risky and uncomfortable but if we're not willing to take a risk there will be no reward. So today, I enlisted the help of Meagan Blanchette, a courageous listener who has volunteered herself as “tribute” to take a 30-day dating challenge.
In this first episode of our Dating Bootcamp podcast series, we will be challenging you to:

Give yourself permission to go dating again
Not get tangled in “Situationships”
Get ready to test the waters again

Let’s get ready for the dating journey! But first, I want you to dig deep and answer the following questions honestly:

Am I ready to date?
Why do I want to date now?
What is my list of 50 qualities I look for on a date? 25? 10?

What are my 5 non-negotiables?
Of the 5 non-negotiables, which ones am I holding loosely?

4. Do I know the risk of love and am I willing to take a risk for the reward?
5. What are my sexual, financial, and spiritual boundaries?
6. What information am I sharing too much of?
7. What are my boundaries regarding time?
This list might seem like a lot but trust me it’s not. You are creating a baseline, a guideline, a roadmap to help you get more comfortable with who you really are and be confident next time you go out on a date.
I’m super passionate about this topic because I did dating wrong. That’s why I want you, your friend, and every single-ready-to-mingle person out there to know that dating can be both pure AND fun when you start out right.
I LOVE Love and I want you to succeed in Love! If you answered any or all of the above questions, share them with me @BiancaOlthoff. Join us tomorrow for Day 2 of the bootcamp!
Love you,
B

Ep 106: Godly Glam, Self-Care, and The Clean Girl Aesthetic with Bianca Olthoff

Ep 106: Godly Glam, Self-Care, and The Clean Girl Aesthetic with Bianca Olthoff

Are you embracing the clean girl aesthetic? Is there an outfit that makes you feel your most confident? Do you have a self-care regiment? I'll be unpacking all of this today and explaining why taking care of yourself should be a priority. In this episode, I talk about:
· The basics of self-care
· Maintaining a personal standard
· How taking care of yourself is biblical
· Explaining vanity vs maintenance and knowing the difference
The church doesn't always like to have conversations about beauty and personal care because it can come across as pursuing vanity. Well, I'm flipping that narrative in this podcast, I want to let you know that having basic self-care standards is not bad but actually biblical. Being presentable, smelling good, and showing up for yourself shows others that you want to be taken seriously and treated with respect.
As you listen, I hope you meet yourself with compassion and remember that it's okay to take care of yourself emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. If you love a full-face of make-up and hair extensions, this podcast is for you. If you love the TikTok clean girl aesthetic, this podcast is for you. If you prefer no make-up and yoga pants, this podcast is for you.
I love a colorful co-ord and believe that the longer the lash, the better! I hope this podcast encourages you to embrace your individuality with style and grace, in every place. You can tag me @biancaolthoff, I'd love to learn more about your personal style.
Love you,

Well, it's something I know all too well and I'm sharing my own experiences in today's podcast. In this episode, I talk about: • Navigating step-parenting • The importance of learning from other families • Establishing boundaries and roles at home • The realities of being part of a blended family I was recently invited to the No Greater Joy Podcast hosted by my friends Peter and Heather Stow to discuss my experience with step-parenting. I'm grateful for the space they created for me to share my story and to increase the visibility of blended families in the church. Throughout the conversation, you'll learn more about how I adjusted to life as a S’Mom (aka Step-Mom). I talk about the lessons I learned and also the emotional impact of step-parenting. As you listen, I hope you gain a new perspective on blended families and how they are part of God's plan. When I married Matt, I also gained Parker and Ryen and they've been a beautiful addition to my life. It hasn't always been easy, but the Olthoff household is one full of love and God's grace. I went from being single to becoming a step-parent REAL quick and it changed my life forever. Ep 103: The Power of Mindset, Building Healthy Thought Patterns, and Changing Your Life with YET with Jasmine Star

Is your mind stuck in replay telling you the same negative thoughts? Are you ready to become aware of what you tell yourself and improve your mindset? Then you’re in for a treat! Today I get to have a life-giving conversation with adoptive mom, entrepreneur, business owner, and my twin sister Jasmine Star on mindset shift.
In my eyes Jasmine has always been strong-willed, a driver, and prone to success. She shares with us how she learned about fixed and growth mindset and how it has helped her become aware of the things she was repeating to herself. Her breakthrough came after having a shift from a fixed to a growth mindset. Jasmine learned to empower her brain and apply a different mindset to her situations.
There are three main categories of self-doubt that a fixed mindset can keep you stuck in:
1. Over Planner
2. Treading Water
3. Destination Obsessed
Friends let’s choose to learn from our challenges and write a different story. Get rid of stinking thinking by choosing the hard of change instead of the hard of stasis.
I love that I get to have these conversations and share them with you! Tag me @BiancaOlthoff and @JasmineStar and let us know how you are writing a different story today.
Love you friends!

Ep 100: Setting Clear Boundaries, Communicating Our Needs To Others and A Million Little Funerals with Lysa TerKeurst

Do you find it hard to establish boundaries? Are you sensitive about and do you struggle to have difficult conversations? Is there a part of your life that you're currently grieving? Lysa TerKeurst is an author and speaker who is tackling all these topics in her newest book. In this conversation, we cover:
· Defining boundaries and why we need them
· How boundaries can improve your relationships
· Tackling tough conversations and how it can provide clarity
· Grieving the relationships and seasons of life that come to an end
Lysa's voice is one I trust and respect, especially when it comes to discussing spiritual and emotional well-being. She shares personal experiences and walks us through her process of re-establishing boundaries. Lysa gives insight into how boundaries are a biblical principle and how honoring our boundaries helps us honor others too. We also talk about acknowledging what didn't work out and grieving those things with little funerals. (Liiisten, this sounds weird but it's a game-changer!) If like me, you have a big heart and lots of feelings, I hope this episode helps you as much as it helped me. Whether you're navigating boundaries in your professional or personal life, there's something for everyone in this episode. Sometimes things don't turn out how we planned, and it's okay to grieve what you lost. Establishing boundaries as you heal can improve your relationships and help you to see all the good that's yet to come. You can tag us @BiancaOlthoff and @LysaTerKeurst, we'd love to learn more about how this episode spoke to you.
Love you,

Ep 99: Co-Leading As A Couple, Redefining Leadership In The Church and Lessons We've Learned with Matt and Bianca Olthoff

Have you ever wondered what it's like to co-lead with family? Are you navigating a new partnership of some kind? Leadership is having influence over something, whether it's personal or professional. Matt Olthoff, a.k.a. my husband, and I co-lead The Father's House OC together. We are sharing our experiences and the lessons learned on:
• Planting a church
• Working together in partnership
• What our leadership looks like
• Defining individual responsibility
Matt's heart for people makes him a great leader. His leadership has impacted me, in marriage and in building a church. We define what leadership is and how we're working together to redefine co-leadership in ministry as a couple. Creating equal opportunity for men and women in ministry is something we care about deeply. Matt empowers me to be a better leader and I am grateful for the journey we've been on. One thing we know for sure is that we are better together.
My hope is that as you listen, you'll be able to hear a different perspective on co-leadership. Whether you're learning how to navigate working with people at your job or looking for ways to communicate better in your relationships, there's something for everyone in this podcast. God made us individually and with purpose and we all bring something different to the table. When we collaborate with others in the community, I believe that we can work at our best. You can tag us @BiancaOlthoff and @MattOlthoff, we'd love to know how this episode spoke to you.

Ep 98: Gossip In The Church, The Power Of Our Words and Choosing Encouragement Over Speculation with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Ep 98: Gossip In The Church, The Power Of Our Words and Choosing Encouragement Over Speculation with Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Have you ever been hurt by someone gossiping about you? Are you guilty of talking about someone behind their back? Gossip is running rampant in today's world, both online and in person and we're going to tackle it in this episode. In this episode, I will:
• Define gossip and different types of gossipers
• Explain why we shouldn't gossip, from a biblical perspective
• Why people may feel the need to gossip
• How we can actively fight against gossip culture Gossip has become a part of everyday life, whether defined as a water cooler moment with colleagues in the office or chatting about someone else's business with friends.
It can also be found online when scrolling through tabloids and social media. While it might seem innocent, it can be hurtful, lead to wild assumptions and cause division in relationships. I'll explain what gossip is and the damage it can cause. I’ll also cover what the Bible says about gossip as well as how gossip is showing up in the [capital C] Church. My heart and my hope is that as you listen, you'll reflect on this topic and have the courage to call out gossip when you see it in real time. Let's instead be generous with encouragement, it goes much further and will have a positive impact on someone's life. You can tag me @biancaolthoff, I'd love to know how this episode spoke to you!
Love you,
B

Ep 97: God's True Nature, Modern Christianity and Embracing the Anointing on Your Life with Lisa Bevere

Do you know God's true nature? Ever wondered how God sees you? Is there a God calling on your life? Lisa Bevere is joining me on the podcast to unpack all these topics. We dive deep into:
• God's true nature
• The power of your YES to God
• Why it's important to speak the truth in love
• Being anointed by God and working in partnership with Him
Lisa is an author, a speaker, and a leader who has spent decades encouraging and empowering people to walk in their purpose. During our conversation, Lisa shares her thoughts on modern Christianity and the importance of knowing the Word of God. She speaks candidly about being anointed by God and working with Him on purpose and for His purpose. Lisa has her ear to the ground and isn't afraid to give us a reality check. Something I love about Lisa's writing and perspective is that it always speaks to God's true nature. It's the reminder that God made each of us uniquely and cultivated a specific purpose for each of our lives.
