Episode 3 of the Travel Japan with Wes Mathur Podcast, In this episode I cover the lesson plan for learning Japanese we were given, including methods and orders in which to learn reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Japanese.  I then go into a general night out in Japan by covering my first night with friends at an Izakaya (A Japanese tavern), as well as differences in social culture I've noticed.  We also cover this weeks news in Japan and some Japanese vocabulary that pertains to this weeks episode, thank you for listening.

Welcome to the  1st Episode of the  Travel  Japan with Wes Mathur Podcast, Here I will cover preparing for my first  trip to Japan in detail. This should be helpful for anyone hoping to travel to Japan as a tourist, student, or employee, but has the student path covered in full.  I went as an  exchange student so I will go from the conception of my plan to study abroad, through my application process and program orientation, Packing, all the way to taking off on a plain to Osaka.  In this podcast I will cover all elements of traveling japan, studying Japanese language and culture, and living and working in Japan based on my  experiences doing all of those things over the corse of 4 plus years.  Thanks for listening.
