If your engagement rate on social media is anywhere above or even approaching 5%, you’re doing great. I did some research to see how this rate stacked up against popular social media content creators and found that they don’t do much better than 5% engagement on their posts. Promoting other people's business in order to promote your own sounds counter intuitive, right? On this episode I talk about how you can leverage of other business's social media followings to grow your business without paying for advertising.  I discuss examples of how I've done this before, how you can quantify success of a strategy like this accurately, and I give an example where I think #Yelp could have used this strategy successfully (it baffles me that they don't- it seems so obvious for their brand!).
