The Tortured Podblog Department
Welcome back to the What the F Podcast! For this ep, Shelby, Aayana & Payton sat down to dissect The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift's newest album, and to give our initial reviews (Pitchfork who?). Our main takeaways:
1. This album sounds like it knows how to use Instagram;
2. Jack Antonoff should be put on restraining order from Electric Lady Studios;
3. The lore... we feel like we just barely scratched the surface!!

Incels, the Alt-right, and Gun Violence
Welcome back to the What the F Podcast! This is part 2 of our Halloween series on the scary things in fiction, on Halloween, and around us.
For this episode, Suhani and Payton talked about two political ideologies and online communities: inceldom the alt-right. How did these movements originate and change over time? How do they influence mass shootings in the US? And how does popular discourse around gun violence and these communities perpetuate harm?
TW: discussion of violence against marginalized peoples and mass shootings.
Since this episode was recorded, a mass shooting was committed in Maine on October 25th. We deeply condemn this act and are heartbroken for all those victimized by it. If you want to talk more about ongoing events or get support, please reach out to us through socials or email. You can also find resources for learning about and coping with gun violence here.
