What if we used words as they were intended? As a gift to bring LIFE to the world around us! On the “What I Love About You” podcast you will be reminded of how much there is to LOVE & how very LOVED YOU are.
How can your words or the words of others help when you’re walking through the pain and heartbreak of loss? I got to talk with the President of the Zara Eleanor Foundation, Leah Luong. Her and her husband Tommy started this foundation after their daughter was still born. They are providing resources, comfort and companionship to people walking through the same horrific experience. They they are shining a light in the darkest of nights and in just a few short months they have already helped 10 families! I wanted to share our personal experience with testing positive for COVID-19 and what it taught me.
If we choose to be vulnerable with people in our community that are for us, we give them the opportunity to remind us we are never alone.
What I love about YOU is that you are not alone! God sees you & not only is HE always with you...He wants you to have community with people that can show up on your worst days, remind you of truth and do life WITH you.
We are continuing to pray for all of those effected by this virus & thanking God that He is the Prince of Peace.

Could the words you are speaking or even thinking be impacting your overall health?
I wanted to share a conversation and realization I had after seeing one of my favorite doctors, Dr. Brooke Higgins. Check out this episode for more information about how our words impact our health and my personal experience with acupuncture.

When we say words have the power to give life...what about in our prayer life?
How can we start praying if we have never prayed before? Can the words we pray really make a difference?
Even if you have no desire currently to pray or feel uncomfortable at just the thought of praying, I hope you will listen to this episode as I share what I've learned about talking to God.

Let this be just another reminder that YOU CAN _____!
This is episode includes a little more about the person behind the mic & the lessons learned when it comes to new opportunities or big decisions. It may not always feel like it but sometimes the most life-giving thing you can do is say "no."
"What I Love About You" is that YOU can say no. You have one beautiful life to live, let's talk about how to fill that life up with experiences that help you become who you dream of being!
Are you tired? Does life feel heavy? Are you facing some big decisions or dreaming some big dreams? Or maybe you just need someone to tell you it’s okay to rest...

You Can Celebrate
Today I wanted to share my journey of finding things to celebrate specifically when it comes to health/fitness/nutrition & weight loss.
Finding things to celebrate and then taking the time to acknowledge them and actually celebrate has been such a game changer!
“What I Love About YOU” is that YOU can CELEBRATE!
I’m so thankful for the opportunity to share my conversation with this amazing lady!
She a wife, mother, a self published author, poet, mentor & a voice of hope and guidance when it comes to racial reconciliation. Christian knows how to use LIFE-GIVING words as the gift that they are! You will also get to hear a poem from her newest book “Eyes On You.” You can check out more of her amazing resources on her website:
“What I Love About YOU” is that you can forgive. Recently, I asked in a pole on social media, “Have you ever had to forgive someone that didn’t say I’m sorry” & 100% of people said “YES!” Something about seeing that response broke my heart and gave me hope all at the same time. It’s heartbreaking to know so many people are walking through the fight to forgive but it also gives me hope because so many people are in fact fighting to forgive.
This episode is honestly just as much for me as it is anyone else. It came after a very honest conversation with God and I wanted to share what I was reminded of in that conversation.
What I Love About YOU...is you CAN show up in spite of all the reasons you have not to. You can show up ANYWAY!

“What I Love About You” is you can listen & it matters. What we listen to makes all the difference.
Words have the power to give life to others but we can’t skip over the importance of listening and creating a space to hear the words of others. Equally important is what/who we are listening to, listen to this episode to hear about how this podcast almost ended less than 2 months in.

In this episode I share one of my favorite parts of "summer camp" and even read you a sweet note I received from someone I love! This week we are taking a look at how we can use life-giving words to make an impact on the people around us & talking about the lasting power of words that are written down.
"What I love about you" is that you can write down those life-giving words and impact generations to come.
"What I love about you" is that... You can BE YOU. WE all know this but have you ever struggled with feeling like you are too much? Not enough? Should be more ______? You are not alone! In episode 3, we talk about the importance of being YOU!
You are needed here.
You bring value here.
You are never too much & always enough.
This episode is dedicated to Melissa Rolon.
May we look into the eyes of other people and view them as the gifts that they are.
May we be quick to embrace people in a way that reminds them that they are important, deeply loved & needed here.
May we be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Thank you for your example.
Thank you for your legacy.
You are so very missed.
