How Anxiety Affects Sleep
Have you ever wondered if anxiety is making it harder to sleep? Anxiety can affect us in a lot of ways, especially in the quality of sleep we get. In this week's episode, Whitney and Makayla talk all about how anxiety affects sleep, including the ways in which it impacts our sleep, what can happen if we're not getting quality sleep, and ways to alleviate nighttime anxiety. We also hear about Makayla's nighttime routine to help with feelings of anxiousness around bedtime, and Whitney and Makayla give recommendations on their favorite tea flavors.

Understanding Menstrual Phases
In this week's episode, Whitney and Makayla talk all about the phases of menstruation and menopause, including when they occur, what happens during each phase, and what symptoms you can expect. We also talk about the importance of inclusivity in reproductive health and healthcare, how to advocate for yourself and your health, and why it's important to educate yourself on reproductive health (even if you don't have a reproductive system!). Hiking 101
In this week's episode, Whitney and Makayla give our listeners the rundown of everything hiking from physical preparation, equipment, and trail navigation to how to create a safe, diverse, and welcoming hiking community for all. Peer Recovery Support and Harm Reduction with Arielle Hacker, MSW
On this week's episode, Julie and Grace are joined by Arielle Hacker, MSW (she/her), the new Mental Health Promotion coordinator, to discuss the revamped Peer Recovery Support and Harm Reduction program. They debunk the myths around substance use, and the misconception across college campuses, and identify how it impacts our own initiation using statistics from the National College Health Association (NCHA). Arielle also guides us through different approaches to harm reduction such as the use of Narcan!

Interdisciplinary Neuroscience with NW Noggin

They are a neuroscience outreach group that collaborates with schools and community organizations to bring accessible interdisciplinary science to as many brains as possible.
