Human Trafficking Awareness w/ Guest Bill Bernstein
In this episode, we are discussing human trafficking. July 30th is World Day against Trafficking in Persons, a day to raise awareness of human trafficking victims and the protection of their rights. Human trafficking is a criminal and public health issue that we should all be aware of.
Bill Bernstein, Deputy Director at Mosaic Family Services joins us later in the episode (20:20) to discuss the importance of awareness and what we can do to respond.
*Statistic estimates are presented in this episode however gaps in reporting human trafficking incidents result in significant undercounting.
