We recently held a field trip at Elephant Rocks and Anatini to celebrate Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail 10-year anniversary. Learn about what we did - and check out our short video of the day on our facebook page.

This field trip - running from the Geosites of Elephant Rocks to Anatini is part of the Alps 2 Ocean Trail 10 year anniversary. Numbers are limited. A holiday programme to connect us to our place.

This programme is available to primary schools within the Waitaki District.

We recently hosted a celebration event to announce the Waitaki Whitestone Geopark becoming a UNESCO Global Geopark!

The Waitaki Whitestone Geopark becomes part of the UNESCO Global Geopark network. A first for New Zealand!

The AF8 Roadshow will be at the Oamaru Opera House Tuesday 16 May at 5:30pm.

Today it offers educational insight into the formation of our land and the marine creatures that once lived here.
