A Whole Lotta Gray

A Whole Lotta Gray

By Anish Anandaram

Discourse today is incredibly polarized. People view issues through a binary lens - you’re either completely right or completely wrong. You’re either a good person or a bad person. The problem with this is that it ignores just how complicated the issues that govern our beliefs really are.

That’s why, in a world which increasingly looks at socio-political, economic and cultural issues through a black or white view, this podcast seeks to cut through the noise and get to the most intricate parts of each issue.

Presenting to you, “A Whole Lotta Gray” with Anish Anandaram.

Denying the existence of reverse racism contributes to Eurocentricism

We've all heard some version of, "White people can't be victims of racism, as racism is prejudice + power, not just prejudice"

Anish debunks this notion and proves how this inadvertently contributes to eurocentricism.

As always please interact with the episode if you enjoyed it and share with all friends who support nuanced thinking!

A key tool used by European colonizers to build the "New World" was unpaid and largely involuntary labor from slaves. In this short pisode, Anish goes over the distinction between both groups.
