Sheila Jeffreys - UK - Gender as dominance and submission

Sheila Jeffreys writes in the areas of sexual politics, international gender politics, and lesbian & gay politics. She has written 18 books on the history and politics of sexuality. Originally from the UK, Sheila moved to Melbourne in 1991 to take up a position at the University of Melbourne. She retired back to the UK in 2015. She has been actively involved in feminist and lesbian feminist politics, particularly around the issue of sexual violence, since 1973. She is a Director of WDI and co-author of the Declaration of Women's Sex-based Rights.

Kara Dansky - USA - The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls

Kara Dansky is a lawyer, feminist, public speaker, and author of The Abolition of Sex: How the “Transgender” Agenda Harms Women and Girls. She serves as the president of the US chapter of Women’s Declaration International and previously served on the board of the Women’s Liberation Front. She started her law and policy career as a public defender and went on to serve as, among other things, executive director of the Stanford Criminal Justice Center, senior counsel at the ACLU’s Center for Justice, and general counsel at the District of Columbia Sentencing Commission. Dansky got her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and her BA from Johns Hopkins University.
