The small music shops are perfect for that human interaction but they cannot carry the inventory of a big box store.  The big box store hires people with no real knowledge of the gear they sell.  Buying online is always a risk.  It used to be great to hit the local store.   I fear those days are gone.

What ever happened to corner stores? Capo's in Northeast Philadelphia was the ultimate place for classic candy, soft pretzels, and hours of arcade fun. From pinball to paper airplanes, this place had it all. One of my earliest memories was hanging out here - and I miss it!
