Episode 10: What is She/Her Empowerment?
In this episode, I (Wiktoria) tell you the viewers more about what She/Her Empowerment is, the origins and idea behind it as well as the message I want to spread to others via this project.
I also mention few new upcoming things I have in mind for the future of this project and what is next to come.
I know this is possibly overdue but hope it helps.
Episode 9: Suki Wan
In this episode, we had a special guest Suki Wan who shared her story about what makes her empowering. We discussed all things human rights and equalities, as well as our past experiences in youth politics - as well as a small discussion on the inner voice that puts us down.
"Would a man say this?"
Listen to more of her story in this podcast.
Disclaimer: Although you can hear both of the individuals speaking, there is lots of background noise due to the place we recorded this at. So bare this in mind when you hear lots of chatter and background music. There was no power within my editing that could take this out.
Episode 8: Nadezhda Raduncheva
In this episode, Nadezhda shares her own experience of empowerment through the various roles she has taken on whilst studying her law degree at Glasgow University.
She touches upon the importance of identity, her love and passion for theatre and arts as well as encouraging others to find their core and their identity by looking at their core values.
Anyone can be empowering as long as you stay true to yourselves and not let others define you.
Episode 7: Zainab Adeleye
A new guest enters the podcast room. Say a warm welcome to Zainab who's a young woman activist. She talks about her journey of empowerment, especially one of a Nigerian background, but also how she is continuing to learn from her heroes and her believes.

Episode 6: Olivia Returns!
Olivia Brown returns after almost a year from her last podcast. She talks about her journey since she last spoke about her empowerment, how much she has changed and learned over the past year and some of her highlights as well as challenges that made her stronger.
Some useful things you may want to know before listening to Olivia, if you are new to the podcast;
- SYP stands for the Scottish Youth Parliament - which are the democratically elected voices of Scotlands young people.
- Olivia is a Trustee for the Scottish Youth Parliament - which is what she will talk about a lot in this episode - and the host was a former Trustee
- SYP sittings are gatherings of members of the Scottish Youth Parliament where they network, speak on issues young people face and vote on their policies (called motions)
Episode 5: Emma Prach
Episode 4: Ash Armstrong
On todays episode, I welcomed Ash Armstrong who spoke about her empowerment with helping others how to cycle, and how there should be less discrimination against what people do. Women should work on being confident within who they are.
