How to Survive and Eat in the Wild
Ep. #12: Jody Hynes is a Canadian Air Force Search & Rescue Technician who trains military crews in wilderness survival tactics. Until the age of 14, Jody lived a subsistence based lifestyle, surviving off the land, as part of the First Nation Mi'kmaq Band in Newfoundland.

'Shocking' Mountaineering in Canada | Jimmy Chin Photoshoot
Ep. #10: Seasoned Mountaineers Nick Baggaley and Mike Gallimore embarked on an expedition which involved: taking a helicopter deep into the Canadian Coastal Mountains of British Columbia (the Waddington Range); navigating mazes of crevasses; surviving a near death experience with a serac fall; and having too close of an encounter with lightning. Their wilderness adventure made it into the 2020 Canadian Alpine Journal and was photographed by Jia Condon and maybe even Jimmy Chin (Director of the movie Free Solo) whom they camped with.

120 mile Canoe Race NON-STOP
Ep. #7: Ryan Foguth won the Rookie of the Year Award while competing in the 120 mile AuSable River Canoe Marathon in Michigan. This highly underrated race is the longest non-stop river canoe race in North America where contestants are pushed so hard they never even stop to pee, thus urinating on themselves while paddling. ย The "NASCAR of Michigan" as they call it.

Canadian Coast Guard Rescues US Coast Guardsman
